I have been eating at Popeye's chicken for nearly 45 years, y'all!!! Ever since I first moved down to Chicago in 1980 and tried their spicy chicken, there was no more KFC for me! Their red beans and rice side dish, or dirty rice, or Jambalaya all became favorites eventually. Some things have come and gone, but the chicken is still the bomb, even if the pieces have continued to shrink quite a bit in size over the years.I also love their frozen lemonade; plain! This restaurant has good food but I prefer to use to drive through The service is okay from time to time and the drive-thru is very hard to get into and out other than that not bad.

Location doesn't let ppl inside? I went to have a one on one meeting here bc good food and quiet but they was locked up. Was not about to go through drive thru for a meeting.Would've been 1 star but popeyes has great food and idk, maybe this is dangerous area? Robberies and stuff? Idk, makes me personally worried when they close the lobby down.
