About Restaurant Aubergine

Restaurant Aubergine is a favorite in the neighborhood, located just a couple of blocks away for some. The food and staff are truly amazing, and it is the perfect spot for a full dinner in the beautiful dining room or just a cocktail or glass of wine at the bar. The staff really knows their wine and are unmatched—amazing conversationalists and experts on all parts of the menu. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely, cozy yet cool, and relaxed and casual. The dishes are beautiful and feature some local ingredients. The radicchio salad with local honey crisp was excellent, and the Pâte en Croûte plate was a beautiful first course. For entrees, there is the mixed grill lamb with lentils and the walleye dish with MN wild rice. The quenelle lacked the crispy exterior of Lyon, but all of it was delicious. The service was relaxed and attentive, with excellent wine suggestions throughout the meal. The bill includes a 10% service charge. It is elevated family style, and the prices were incredibly affordable. The food is creative, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with high complements to the pastries and sourdough bread.

We moved to the neighborhood right after Aubergine opened and couldn’t be more thrilled to live just a couple of blocks away. The food and staff are truly amazing, and it’s the perfect spot for a full dinner in their beautiful dining room or just a cocktail or glass of wine at the bar. Plus, the staff really knows their wine!
We had a wonderful Tuesday evening at Aubergine. The dishes we shared were all beautiful and featured some local ingredients. The radicchio salad with local honey crisp was excellent! The Pâte en Croûte plate was a beautiful first course.
For entrees, we ordered the mixed grill lamb with lentils and the walleye dish with MN wild rice. The quenelle (fish dumpling) lacked the crispy exterior that we’ve had in Lyon, but all of it was delicious. The service was relaxed...read full review
