“My Dad used to bring us here when we were kids, one of his favorite breakfast spots. Stopped here for some post sports breakfast on a Saturday morning. Just as good (if not better!) than what I remember! Food came out super fast, servers were very friendly and attentive. We will come back again!”

“I live in south Minneapolis but I still make the drive out to Savage to pick up a couple of donburis from Oishii. Their Chashu donburi is straight FIRE.

Matter of fact, this is my favorite restaurant. I’ve tried many different Japanese-style restaurants around the Twin Cities and greater metro area. So I feel locally qualified to say, Oishii is top- notch. Some of the best Japanese food you’re gonna find in Minnesota.”

“I tried Que Taco for the first time..the location in New Hope off of Bass Lake Road. The handmade tortillas are excellent and the Pozole as one of the best I have had...very authentic. It was so good we went back the next day to try the chilaquiles and machete. All very good!”

“This Caribou has lots of parking, since it's in a strip mall. Convenient location, next to T-Mobile. Comfy seating. Counters, garbages and displays were clean. Food in the cases looked fresh and very tempting! Kaitlyn was friendly and really helpful with suggestions for non coffee drinks! My issue is I don't remember what it was called, or how to order it next time, so I hope she's working when I visit again! Haha”

“Stopped in at Neisen's last Wednesday night to check out and scout the talent on their karaoke night. Excellent joint, large and spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable drink and food prices.

Ordered a club sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Sandwich was toasted just right and lots of meat and veggie in between the perfectly toasted bread. Asked to have the french fries made crispy and they totally met the mark, golden brown crispy and not burnt. Tons and tons of parking.

“We showed up at closing hoping we’d get Chinese food for my little brother birthday. Every place was closed and we walked in and they had everything shut down. The young girl showed amazing service. “I have been to this grocery store a bunch of times but I never ordered anything to eat inside before. I was supprised by how loaded the Huarache was, I was very pleased, I also requested the item to be modified and they did what they could to make it as I asked.The wasn't slow, it took around ten minutes, everything that was on my plate was put together with fresh ingredients so that's understandable.There isn't alot of seating but for being a place inside of another store there is a considerable amount. I also visited on the weekend and it was busy and there was a line for checking out. The window says they are open daily 6 am to 9pm so that a big chunk of hours.The Location is only 1 mile west of 35W Highway so it's a prime spot. It is not a sit down with a menu and order place, it is a order at the counter and get your recipe number called and pick it up place. So you can dine in once you have your food or take it to go with you. I liked the taste of the food and I would like to go back and try out additional items on the menu.

Vegetarian options: You can ask for the items without meat.

Parking: Free parking, but usually pretty busy.”

I visited Sambusa Restaurant and ordered the chicken suqaar. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was quick, and the staff was very welcoming. I’d recommend it anytime!”

“We got there for lunch around 1:00. Waited about 6 minutes for our freshly prepared food. The fish sandwich was steaming hot and coating crispy. We enjoyed the green shamrock shakes with our meal which were the best!”

“Our Review of Crooked Pint Ale House Beer 0 0 Food: 10/10

We stopped by Crooked Pint for the first time while passing through town. My husband found the beer selection disappointing—it leaned heavily toward IPAs, making the options feel unbalanced. He would have preferred a broader variety, particularly more brown and amber ales.

Service was slow, but since we weren’t in a rush, it wasn’t a major issue.

The real star of the experience? The food. We started with an appetizer of poutine—waffle fries topped with cheese curds, bacon pieces, mozzarella, covered in rich brown gravy. Without a doubt, the best poutine we’ve ever had. If you go, do yourself a favor and order this—you won’t regret it. I’ll be dreaming about that poutine for weeks.

For my entrée, I chose the Asian pork tacos. They were bursting with flavor, packed with cabbage, pico, roasted corn, cheese, fried tortilla strips and cilantro. After the first bite, I told my husband they were the best tacos I've ever eaten. To wrap it up - great food, disappointing beer selection and slow service. But the poutine and pork tacos? Absolutely unforgettable.”
