“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “Had a stellar tour on Saturday and went back for drinks on Sunday! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does, and the facility was also very impressive. We all enjoyed learning about the process and tasting the components that go into Keeper's Heart. After the tour they were booked for the night in the dining room, but we returned the next night to try a stellar Apple Pie Old Fashioned, a Fog hot drink for myself (who prefers a sweeter drink), their famous Manhattan, and their classic Old Fashioned. Will be back for dinner sometime for the ambiance alone!“

“Edit: I finally dined there. The food was fantastic, my wife loved the onion rings and the careful service that we were given. Burgers were great. Coleslaw was actually refreshing, and not mayo dumped. Matt and his staff gave us a wonderful time on New Years Day. I will be back, with a bottle of heinz which is a small complaint.

Edit: The manager was very very prompt in responding to my email in resolving this year. In prompt it was less than about 30 minutes when I reached out via email. Which is actually, pretty darn impressive nowadays to take responsibility instead of passing the buck. They get five stars now.

I made Christmas reservations only to learn less than three days before Christmas that they weren't actually open. Their site allowed me to make a reservation. I called them to confirm if they were closed as I found out not from them at all. They did confirm it, and then laid blame on my insisuating that since they've never been open for Xmas, I should of known. Okay, then tell that to your reservation page.Pathetic service right before the holidays.

Even after I called and said it was taken down. It's still up allowing others to book a reservation. I hope there ain't some family that shows up expecting a reservation thay never should of been placed.“

“The dining area in nightingale is prime for a date night. Warmly lit and cozy vibes. The food was average— we enjoyed the scallops the most. It had a unique blend of flavors and I didn’t expect the grapes to go so well with it! The broccolini with burrata was ok, but probably wouldn’t get it again. The service was nice but pretty slow. It took a long time to order and get drinks, appetizers, and entrees.“

Crispy and juicy fried chicken, white rice, fresh broccoli and bell peppers, and jerk sauce. Absolutely delicious bowl and it paired well with the clypso egg rolls. I’ve had the island beef patty, shrimp bowls, and the reggae shrimp on prior visits (all amazing). Everything is made to order so the quality is top shelf and well worth the wait. “This place is so underrated and a hidden gem! The drinks are palatable, delicious, light and refreshing. I love being able to have drinks that don’t make me feel super full like beer does. The owner was so kind. I could only pick 3 flavors for the $12 flight and was between two flavors for my last pick. He generously offered me the 4th flavor as well! He also came by and gifted me a 4-pack for my birthday. It was the random act of kindness I didn’t expect but appreciated!

Seriously one of the best taprooms in the Twin Cities. And among the best beers in the state. I'm glad to be back after so many years!“

“I have eaten here couple times and thr good is great. Love the farm to table food. I am a big person on fresh quality and not prepackaged foods and this place is amazing for the food. Both times I was there around brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was really good both times. I got a breakfast bowl with carnitas meat and it was amazing. Lots of flavor, texture, color in the bowl from crispy potatoes to delicious carnitas to a smooth and silky and cooked perfectly. The pickled stuff in it was different and a great contrast to the other parts. The micro greens are a current favorite to added nutritional boost and getting these on both plates here was awesome. The bowl was a lot of food added meat made it right amount for me, the added meat not necessary but highly recommend.
The eggs benedict was a different take. It is one of my favorite breakfast menu items. This take I could appreciate the concept but it was a 4 star for me. I really liked the cornbread that you can tell is fres and made in house if not at least near by. That was a great variant that I may have to acquire when I make it at home. The ham was delicious, it said maple cured and we use only pure at home no maple flavored but the maple flavor I was hoping for more of a pop from, maybe using a little maple syrup in the hollandaise sauce? Anyway the eggs were perfect and topped with micro greens as well. The hollandaise was, well not enough, or jot enough of a flavor, it was minimal and really felt like an after thought rather than a main focus which when ordering a Benedict the 3 things are required, a great hollandaise that is fore front, a take on ham, and a base. They had 2 of 3 spot on. Thus I would say 4 out of 5 for it great meal still don't get me wrong but could have used a touch more hollandaise with a bit more of a flavor or focus on that aspect. Great place will be back. Also like how they jave some fresh produce, baked goods, and farm fresh meats in coolers there.“

“My wife and I have been to La Mesa a handful of times and have never been disappointed( including our second date, its a great date spot). La mesa is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood with a great outdoor space in the summer. In my opinion, they have some of the best pizza in the city The corn pizza is my favorite and the weekly special last week was slow roasted pork and chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Great place, good service, and nice atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun date night or something different than a bar and grill. I just recommend to a co worker and she really enjoyed it!“
