“I went to Job Sims house for a service call for his air conditioner not working. Jon immediately offered me breakfast as he is a cook at granite city. I politely declined and continued working. After I finished fixing his air conditioner Jon comes out with a plate of food saying it wasn’t in his nature to not give out food. I went back to the shop and ate the best homemade burrito I have ever had. Jon was not only one of the nicest people I have met but also one of the best cooks. You will not be disappointed going to granite city and receiving a meal made by Jon!“

“This was the very first bar I came to when I moved to saint cloud. It wasn't my go to bar because it was out of my "jurisdiction". Vfw ended up becoming one of my favorite cornerstones. I ended up being in vfw's neighborhood. If your looking for friendly banter, with a Cheers tv show atmosphere. Come to vfw have a couple drinks and ask for juju. You will fall in love with the many patrons and older veterans who make vfw a very cool place.“

“Got some takeout, great service! The place itself is nice I really like how it’s an “underground” feel. I got th jumbo pretzel, that name does NOT disappoint! It was HUGE!! I also got the dry rub wings, pretty decent; but I wouldn’t come here for wings again. I’m definitely stopping by to try the specials they offer, as I’ve heard that’s the best part! Overall good experience, if you’re craving bar food, but not BAR food, stop here!!“

“Came here yesterday with a group for my wedding planning party. Not only was the food good but we had some of the best service! The girls serving us were super friendly and sweet! As well as very on top of the job. We couldn’t have had a better time. Thanks so much to the cooks and our two servers! You girls rock!“

“Friendly and helpful staff. Just wish our drinks stayed filled up more often. Food was pretty. Philly steak was pretty good. The appetizer cheese curds were really good. The mashed potatoes were a bit on the weird side and served a bit on the cold side. Otherwise the rest of the group liked their food. They do have some good gluten-free options which are group appreciated.“

“When I first walk into Shooter, the smile from the staff was welcoming and it been strong every since, they call you by your name, I love all the staff.“
