“This was the very first bar I came to when I moved to saint cloud. It wasn't my go to bar because it was out of my "jurisdiction". Vfw ended up becoming one of my favorite cornerstones. I ended up being in vfw's neighborhood. If your looking for friendly banter, with a Cheers tv show atmosphere. Come to vfw have a couple drinks and ask for juju. You will fall in love with the many patrons and older veterans who make vfw a very cool place.“

“Had a great lunch! Curried mussels and Korean green beans had very good flavor and were generous portions. Excellent burger and fries; appreciated that the burger was not overcooked. Our server did everything right - she was friendly, attentive and efficient.“

“As a guest at the hotel for nearby job project, I found Legends as their bar & restaurant, and stopped for lunch on my work break.
I was first disappointed that my call to order before I arrived, that went to voice mail.
I only had an hour.
Went down there and the staff was so kind and helpful. It was Labor Day weekend so no one answers the phone I guess.
* * The burger and fries were 10 out of 10!!!
Perfectly cooked, flavor like fine steak.
Fries had coating that I usually don’t like but they were not at all greasy. Excellent in every way.
The waiter kept checking on me with a cold beverage on a 91 degree day.

“Friendly and helpful staff. Just wish our drinks stayed filled up more often. Food was pretty. Philly steak was pretty good. The appetizer cheese curds were really good. The mashed potatoes were a bit on the weird side and served a bit on the cold side. Otherwise the rest of the group liked their food. They do have some good gluten-free options which are group appreciated.“
