We by chance stopped in for supper and a drink this past Friday night and were impressed by what great food we all had. 5 of us ordering different items and all were meals were so fresh and delicious! And service was outstanding! We would definitely recommend the Mad Capper to anyone who is visiting Stillwater!“

“The "Kiss of the Geisha" sushi roll was some of the best sushi that I have ever had. We asked for a recommendation from the friendly server, and that roll hit the spot! Spicy, crunchy, and the fish and crab were excellent quality. Good portion of Wasabi on the side. The saki options offered were great as well. Sitting at the sushi bar is a fun and entertaining experience. Great sushi chefs and great servers.“

“food is good, the store i had my experience in Shoreview was very clean and organized. I do not care for the chips, they are a little plain in my opinion, but everything else is good! hoping for location in Woodbury or Cottage Grove area.“

“If we are going out for sit down pizza this is our go to spot. We moved from AZ two years ago and this is hands down some of the best we have found since we have been here. You can’t go wrong with any pizza, the Brussels sprouts are unreal, and every flavor of wing is good. Always great vibes here, family friendly, and the staff is awesome!“

“My daughter and son in law visited Sunday, May 25th, 2025. Everything, with the exception of salad and Tour of Italy was awful. I had Create Pasta with Mushroom Sauce. Terrible watery, no flavor. Daughter had Zupa Toscan which was tasteless and watery. Her entree was Chicken Margarita flavorless with many green peppers on top. Such a disappointment for a reputed good eatery.“

“My husband and I were there for lunch today. The cooks were great and the Tuscan Flatbread and bacon cheeseburger sliders (Hubby) were so good. We had a nice conversation with I believe he was the manager and the server were so awesome. I will be sure to visit again soon.“

“Tonight, I was at Acapulco in Woodbury, I was dining with a large group we had excellent service, our server Sami was fantastic. She was super attentive even though the restaurant was very busy she still made our group a top priority. “Went in to buy a frozen deep dish for a fun night with kids and the price jumped to $37! No service, just a frozen pizza. When I asked about the price, the girls at the desk said that was correct! Since Kowalskis bought out the restaurants, they've raised the prices! Last pizza we get there because the food is OK, noting exceptional like it used to be.“

I was having trouble placing a catering order for my work to feed 28-30 people and Amy took the time to trouble shoot over the phone with me and then also in person at the store. She helped make it possible for me to provide food for my team and made it really easy as everything was ready and waiting for me when I got there. Amy you are amazing and you truly helped me!“
