“While staying with our cousin in the St. Charles area, she suggested that we go to the Golden Harvest for dinner. Located in Utica just east of St. Charles right on Highway 14. We were able to park for free in available off-street parking. Despite being there at dinner time, we were able to be seated right away. We did not need a reservation. Our wait staff gave us immediate attention as we sat down. The menu had a wide variety of items, and each of us ordered something we liked from a taco salad to porkchops to broasted chicken. The large pieces of broasted chicken were excellent. A trip to the salad bar was included with each dinner entree. The salad bar also had a large variety of items including pickled herring. The bill for the three of us was right around $50 (without alcohol). After such a great dining experience, we look forward to a return visit when wd are back in the area.“
