“My favorite bar on the Range! It’s always clean and has a good atmosphere. Bartenders are always friendly, personable, entertaining, & on top of their game; the second time I went there the bartender already remembered what I like to drink plus I didn’t have to remind them what I was drinking when I was ready for a refill! Met some many amazing people there and have always had fun while feeling safe & taken care of which is important when you’re a female alone at a bar! I’ve been to many bars and have never felt more welcomed than at Rainy, also I’ve noticed they seem to experience way way less drama than other bars which is a good sign that they take care of the environment to ensure we all enjoy ourselves! I’ve even seen the bartenders give someone a ride home so they didn’t drink & drive! & They have TouchTunes so you can play whatever music you want either using cash at the machine or downloading the app to use your card so you don’t even have to leave your seat! Even better if you get hungry they offer free popcorn or for a dollar or two you can even have snacks like chips, beef sticks, nuts & candy. They don’t have a restaurant anymore but they make THE BEST frozen pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! the pizzas are Giovanni’s brand which you can’t find around this area, chicken bacon ranch is my favorite or try their pizza fries!! Another thing I love about them is that they actually have a book of shot recipes and a book for cocktail recipes so you’ll never run out of new things to try! Overall I feel you can’t find a better bar! they never discriminate for any reason which I have also found to be a problem at other bars. So with all their great service & hospitality, the beautiful interior of the bar, big selection of wine beer & spirits, & the selection of food that you don’t find at other bars, they get 5 stars from me for making me feel like I’m at a second home”

“This food and drink establishment in Virginia has left the best impressions on me. The service was friendly, prompt, accurate. I felt welcomed and appreciated by the staff. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. It was apparent to me that they are good people who care. Being a first timer, I requested some food and drink suggestions and received several knowledgeable, honest and suggestions. I hope to come back here again and again. Good value. I recommend to everyone!”

“Stopped here and got a few sweet treats when we were passing through. The orange cake donut was definitely our fav. The other donuts were great as well. The strawberry danish was too sweet for me but doesn’t mean it would be for you. The lunch counter looked like a good place to have a sandwich.”

“My husband was so satisfied with the pizza we ordered and how well all the flavors worked together just right. He said "Out a 5 star rating they definitely get a 6". He also had a lot of OMGs throughout our entire dinner because he was so happily satisfied.”

“Love their pizza will not order or go anywhere else!? but their phone courtesy has to change if I continue to buy pizza there. Last night (8/11/22) when giving the employee my pizza order I had to repeat the order. After a few times she said why don’t you go somewhere else to order and hung up!! I waited a few minutes and called back and talked to a nice male who took my order. When my pizza came the delivery person came in and apologized for behavior of the employee. Thank goodness we have some good employees out there!!”

“Not quite what I wanted, but more than I expected. Most restaurants here serve comfort food, which is authentic for the ingredients, but not the spices that you would find elsewhere.”

“Used a gift card Friday and picked out a cinnamon roll, couple caramel rolls, and a couple other treats. Rolls in the case looked amazing, which is why we picked them, but the employee did not take them from the case. Boxed up everything from behind the counter. They ended up being dried out. Am disappointed but will give them another try.”
