“The alley needs some updating, but it was a good experience. The pizza and cheese curds were really good. The pop had a strange flavor. Not sure if the fountain machine was old or just bad tap water. It was really busy from 5 until 6, then it was nearly empty.“
“I got the grilled chicken sandwich but don't eat the lettuce, tomato, or onion. Rather than just give me a bare chicken sandwich, they added a slice of cheese and bacon for me! They read my mind! Who wouldn't love cheese and bacon on anything?! The choices for ciders was minimal but I'm pretty used to that. All in all, great choices and cozy environment.“
“The restaurant was great. Service was asking great. If you are a fan of Grumpy Old Men and are in the area, I would take the trip. Now the down side which is no fault of the restaurant or town. The actual bar used as Slippery’s tavern in the movie was in St. Paul MN and there was also a stand in town used for Wabasha as well. So unfortunately you don’t really get to see land marks from the movie. However it it a very nice town to check out for a quick stop over.“
“Eaten there twice for breakfast the last few weeks. Really good, country-style homemade food with friendly service and cozy, diner-style coffee-shop vibe. First few times I went there were back in the 1970s with my Dad and Granddad. :) Call ahead, make sure they're open.“
“My wife and I stopped there for the first time on the way back from Rochester and enjoyed it very much. We were greated when we walked in and the staff was very polite. The food was very good, plenty of seating inside and its clear the owners take pride in the facility. Definitely added it to our list of places to stop!“
“The food quality and ever-changing daily specials are a wonderful surprise and exceeded my expectations for a small place. The staff are attentive and entertaining, and the prices are very reasonable too.Dietary restrictions: Everything is made in-house, including the salad dressings and chip dips, so they were very accommodating of my special requests.“
“If you’re in the Pepin area, treat yourself to a meal at this place. Big delicious breakfasts, good coffee, friendly people. Ask if they have farm fresh eggs to go and take a dozen with you. We were tempted by the cinnamon rolls but were just too stuffed. Next time, because we will definitely be back.“
“Good People. They have a large dance hall for events. Breakfast lunch dinner. Some campground locations in the back and a dump station. Easy access to the highway, plenty of parking. One review stated no sign for motorcycle kickstands, I have always known one to be there since the new blacktop was laid. Previous owner Brians SilverMoon is obviously old and Google still has it up.“
“We arrived at an odd time and found many open tables with many servers available. The food was good. The quantity was good.Just be aware that they take cash or check. They do have an ATM in the restaurant, but I don't know if there is a fee to get cash.I have noticed many businesses either refusing cards, charging a fee for cards, or giving a discount for checks/cash.“
“This is one of my family's go to places when we visit from Florida. It's basic bar food, but it's always made to order. It's "decor" is one of a kind, but that adds to the experience. If you like a good burger, cheese curds and a cold beer, this is your place to go.“
“Cold beer and huge deer mounts!!! The staff was friendly and fun. After we ordered our drinks, we looked around in amazement at all of the MASSIVE white tail deer mounts. If you're a hunter or appreciate big bucks, this is a MUST stop. You won't regret it.“
“First of all the place was so inviting because of Amanda’s kind welcoming, she treated us as though we were her friends. The food was fantastic, the vibe was laid back, not to mention the view was peaceful. I highly recommend this place. My wife and I will definitely be coming back.“
“Nice restaurant near Lake Pepin. Limited menu and Twin City prices. Food was good but was not high end, which I expect when paying $30-40 for an entrée. Butternut squash soup was bland and I don't generally use a lot of salt, but definitely lacking here. Curry was decent, but repeated on me all night. A few string beans accompanied the curry, they were undercooked. Didnt try dessert, already spent a small fortune and can't afford these prices. Cozy atmosphere, although a bit cramped space wise. Service was pleasant.“
“I posted on my FB page that Brian's had the best Shrimp ever. Seriously we winter on the gulf in TX where shrimp is the best. Well this was just as good if not better. Huge fresh butterfly Jumbo Shrimp! Yum!!! Done to perfection. We highly recommend“
“Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and sauteed onions with friesAnd my fiancee had the mushroom and Swiss added bacon with friesThe burger was perfectly cooked and sol juicy. Fries homemade were awesome. Cook/ waitress was so friendly and easy going.. glad we stopped and tried!!Kid-friendliness: Large spaceWheelchair accessibility: Ramp to get in“
“Beautiful views of the river in this small brewery. Our server, Vinny, was excellent. The food was delicious. Shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had. Loved the dill pickle cheese curds too. Jerk chicken tacos had a great flavor profile.“
“I ordered a array of food all was amazing fries crispy the cheese curds some of the best I've ever had the bacon burger is amazing and the California burger along with the chicken strip I will definitely be coming back well worth the 80$ I honetly can't complain at “
