“this place is worth the drive! We were hiking at the nearby Whitewater State Park and tried this place. This might be the first restaurant that me, my wife and both kids loved. My kid had a burger(really well seasoned), my wifre and I shared a mexican dish. 100% reccomend. I live three hours away or else we would be regulars. Clean place, friendly staff, awesome food.“

“A typical Midwestern local sports bar and grill. TVs for games, an upper deck for eating to look down to the main floor, popcorn machine, pull tabs and extensive beer list. All the food items are very reasonable (you can get a jr size burger meal for $6.99) and I was satisfied with my burger and the portion of kettle cooked style chips I got with the meal. Ordered one alcoholic drink, and didn't get a second because I questioned whether there a full shot in there. Liquor Bonus prices are $3 for domestic beets and $5.50 for premium (I paid that for a blackberry Crown Royal) there is an off sale liquor store attached to this establishment!“

“While staying with our cousin in the St. Charles area, she suggested that we go to the Golden Harvest for dinner. Located in Utica just east of St. Charles right on Highway 14. We were able to park for free in available off-street parking. Despite being there at dinner time, we were able to be seated right away. We did not need a reservation. Our wait staff gave us immediate attention as we sat down. The menu had a wide variety of items, and each of us ordered something we liked from a taco salad to porkchops to broasted chicken. The large pieces of broasted chicken were excellent. A trip to the salad bar was included with each dinner entree. The salad bar also had a large variety of items including pickled herring. The bill for the three of us was right around $50 (without alcohol). After such a great dining experience, we look forward to a return visit when wd are back in the area.“
