Laketown Home and Garden Ice Cream • $$
24 West 1st Street, Waconia

“Love this chocolate! It's absolutely delicious and they put Godiva to shame. But I really wish their hours were accurate. My father went to the shop at 8am to get chocolate for my mother and the sign on the door says 10am, but google shows open at 8am. And there is not a voicemail stating the updated hours. He drove over 45 minutes. Major bummer. But still, best chocolate in the west metro.“

The Main Scoop Ice Cream Shop • $$
140 W Main St, Waconia

“I used to work there and not only was it a great place to work as my first job, it's a good place to stop for some good ice cream. It is a bit expensive, but please keep in mind, the ice cream is imported from Wisconsin and is a very high quality ice cream. If you want more for your buck, get cheap ice cream at a gas station. If you want something worth your buck, come here.“

“Good food, Nick and Graham were both very helpful and polite, helped me with my order when I was a little confused, and were extremely professional. Give those two a raise! 9/10Parking: Good parking, more than enough spots most days, and plenty of room.“

“Dairy Queen is a popular fast food chain known for its delicious soft-serve ice cream and a wide range of tasty treats. Their menu offers a variety of options including burgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, and salads. The star of the show, however, is their ice cream. Dairy Queen's soft-serve is creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. Whether you prefer classic vanilla or adventurous flavors like Oreo or Reese's, there is something for everyone. Their signature Blizzard treats are a must-try, with various mix-ins that create a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The service at Dairy Queen is typically fast and friendly, making it a convenient choice for a quick treat or meal on the go. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. Overall, Dairy Queen is a reliable option for satisfying your sweet tooth or grabbing a quick bite.“

“Only place in town that’s worth going to eat fast food! I’ve rarely or ever have had a bad experience here compared to the every bad time experience at Macdonald’s. The kids that work there are great! It’s my go to when I want something fast and o don’t want yo drive out of “
