27 Best Ice Cream Shops near Long Lake

“This shop was so adorable, and the ice cream was absolutely DELICIOUS!! My family and I were traveling from out of town when we stopped by and we can’t wait to come back!“

“best ice cream around, and friendly employees“

“I ordered a fudge Carmel drizzle ice cream cake for a grad party. Nothing in the middle or on the bottom. It came just plan white. I reached out and was contacted by the manager who was very nice and helped make the situation better.
The ice cream is phenomenal!“

“Well,..if you want a doughy, barely cooked sugar-bomb that’ll put any healthy person into diabetic shock, then this is the cookie for you. If your tastes buds have graduated past American grade school cafeteria fare, then you might want to avoid what this chain puts out. Bonus points for the self service menu screens cuz no one is going to help you and for the one employee declaring to another how they have the solution to end taxes.“

“I just want to give a shout out to the team that’s working there today! They went above and beyond to make sure an order that wasn’t delivered by DoorDash correctly was taken care of. It’s hard being away from family during holidays but they took care of our delivery issue so my daughter still could feel the love from her family.“

“I love that we have a place like this in Victoria and it's great for the kids. I just wish they had better non dairy options like oat or coconut ice cream so I could enjoy it too! the sorbet is fine but it just makes me wish it eas.oce cream.“

“I had tried posting this review 2/22/2023, but not sure what I did wrong for it to not be public.

Short review- The staff are always friendly. All 9 flavors I’ve had so far have been delicious and I can’t wait to keep bringing friends to try Snowbing for their first time!
FYI: If you get Snowbing and Cruncheese at the same time you’ll need to pay from two separate registers. They’re right next to each other, so it’s no hassle!

TLDR-
I was so excited for Minnesota’s one and only Korean bingsu place to open! For those who don’t know, bingsu (빙수) is a milk based shaved ice dessert. Many people might have ice shavers to make their own, but it hits different when it’s made with the milk base.
Even though I live about 30 minutes away I’ve been almost 10 times. Snowbing has 10 flavors: Traditional Red Bean, injeolmi, strawberry, green tea red bean, chocolate, oreo, mango, watermelon, yogurt berry, and strawberry cheesecake. Checkout the photos included!

Flavors: The last time I went I finally tried the chocolate one, which I had been holding out on because I was worried it’d be overpoweringly sweet. It wasn’t! I would order it again in a heartbeat. I’ve gone with friends who’ve been worried about trying the yogurt berry because they didn’t want more dairy with the yogurt, but the yogurt is (in my opinion) mainly just drizzled on top for looks. We didn’t think it was too yogurty and really loved this bingsu because of the 3 fruits in it. I have yet to try the strawberry cheesecake before I’ve had them all, but can’t wait to check it off my list.

Pro tip: Eat the bingsu first, theeen get your cruncheese. If you eat the cruncheese first, there won’t be enough space for you to enjoy the bingsu! When I went my first time I was with 3 other friends. We got our own cruncheese then shared 2 different bingsus. I can eat my own bingsu bowl by myself as long as I eat that before any other food.

Hope you enjoy as much as I have! :)“

“Love love the trolley. I’ve Photograph it so many times. Lost track. The ice cream is always a must. Love the chairs. Hmmm. Can we have more there?? Hee hee“

“Always a great place to grab some ice cream 🍦“

“Kids and I had Freezix tonight for dessert and so yummy! Also Kelly (asked his name for this) gave us great service. When I left him a tip, the jar was so full - I must not be the only one impressed. He let me use both my coupons (which I wasn't expecting). Also we came about 1/2 hr before close, and he didn't make us feel rushed or anything (I know this is supposed to happen but doesn't at some places or with other people). Thanks Kelly!“

“Romeo would like to thank this Culver’s for making him his very last gigantic vanilla Sunday this morning 02/10/2022 at 10:00 am! He had half now and will have the other half before it’s time to say goodbye! Only the best for the very best dog✨ 💖💟 Thank you Culver’s employees for making his morning tasty.“

“Excellent everything! Ice cream, fries, hot dogs, & service!“

“Disclosure: I have a kiddo that works here. Haven’t reviewed bc of that.

Exception follows! Thank you Culver’s for providing thee only thing my kiddo can eat post wisdom teeth extraction.

Your CUSTARD has been a lifesaver. Will be back for more on Day 2.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!“

“We purchased two dozen cookies online and had a gift card for a third dozen

For some reason their gift cards were not working online, so we went in the store to pick up and they were not working in store either.

We needed to pick up the cookies to deliver to our daughter for her birthday for her soccer team.

The manager on duty, let us take the cookies and trusted that I had the correct amount on the gift card.

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!

this was on October 2 Wednesday, So whoever the young lady was on duty gets the credit for going above and beyond.“

“My daughter and I are here at 2:30 pm - the food is great actually. Just want to let the owner know I am witnessing the female manager yell at her male staff member loudly- it is unprofessional and I feel bad for him. She needs some coaching on kindness- she may be having a hard day but it isn’t okay to treat coworkers that way. I’m sure you wouldn’t want your employees treated this way. Update- Thanks to the owner for supporting his employees and for the yummy ice cream.“

“The ordering to go was amazingly fast. No sitting in a one hour drive through backup! Who knew!!!“

“Thank you Culver’s of Maple Grove for the great fast lunch. Special thanks to Nan who was so patient taking our order with all the changes as we’re teaching the younger kids how to place their orders“

“Love this place first visit and what a pleasant visit“

“Decided to stop by for a drive thru visit and this location did not disappoint!

I received very accurate and helpful service, it was quick and everything tasted awesome. I just had to take a pic of my turtle custard bc they did such a good job on it!

Plus the grilled onions were perfect on my burger.

Only complaint would be that my fries completely spilled in the bag, like they were out in there upside down… still tasted good tho haha“

“Amazing service by Amazing Employees!! Thank You“

“Fresh Ice Cream with great Taste. Came across awesome and energetic crew.“

“This is the best Dairy Queen in the entire land I swear! Michelle is just wonderful !!
It’s always perfect and so much fun. !! such great customer service , And food… And cakes! Everything truly taste better coming from this DQ. I’m not kidding.“

“This place was not as bad as some of the reviews state. There were “Out of Order” signs on both bathrooms. But that may have been put there in an attempt to keep undesirables out as I did see a few walk in and use the bathroom then walk right out. Other than that it was fine.“

“It very good“

“I danced my way through the drive-thru on my electric scooter when my order was paid for by the car ahead of me. I was elated and extremely grateful. If only the car understood how difficult my week has been with my kindness being taken advantage of by the very ones I'm helping. This helped reinstate hope I lost in people and helped show me how special it is to help someone else in need.“
