Things to know: - Almost ALL of their flavors are gluten-free! - A variety of signature staples, revolving flavors, and seasonal flavors - The shop is small, with a few benches and one table for seating - plan to take it out and walk - It's tucked away in a walking-only area of 50th and France - park in the parking ramp and enter near Mr. Paul's We had such a hard time choosing flavors - they were all so creative and sounded delicious! As a gluten-free girly, I was shocked and impressed to see flavors like cookies & cream and brownie offered GF. Prices are pretty typical - and honestly for the quality and flavor, it's worth it. The staff member onsite when we visited was so kind and helpful - she was clearly enthusiastic about the flavors and had tried them so she could give accurate recommendations. We opted for: cayenne caramel brownie almond toffee ganache peanut butter chocolate cookie milk and cookies and loved each one! Can't recommend this spot enough.“
“Pumphouse is a long time contributor to the Twin Cities ice cream scene, which has evolved significantly since my arrival in 2015. This is a humble ice cream shop. In fact, the outdoor overhead neon sign is simply an adorable ice cream cone. Further, there are no gimmicks or dazzles, or other such overt Instagram bait, unlike other parlors, past and present, in our metropolis. What you get instead is honest to goodness neighborhoodly deliciousness. Many times, you get locally sourced ingredients and inspiration, but not always - there are some truly creative and wordy flavors that make their appearance here. And it's all from scratch. A pet peeve of mine is a shop that charges a premium for a mass waffle produced cone. Not the case here - in fact, this is the most unique and delicious cone I've ever come across. Made from heirloom and whole grains, it's not one you'll forget. The owner is down to earth and the ice cream descriptions convey a dedication to craft.Pumphouse also serves sipping chocolate, an elegant, thick, and luscious sibling of hot chocolate. I greatly enjoyed my latest cup, my only trouble being that many of the ice cream flavors were so tantalizing the desire hijacked my brain, so I couldn't fully focus on enjoying my sipping chocolate.On top of all this, the prices are reasonable. In fact, Pumphouse isn't a contributor to our city's ice cream scene: they're a backbone.“

Why, why, why would they not have more help on what is probably Crumbl’s busiest days of the year!! I will say the young lady ( wish I had gotten her name) was doing a great job getting the orders out as quickly as she could and was very friendly and professional upon delivery which was commendable since I’m sure she was overwhelmed!! “Edwards is an interesting place. Yes, they specialize in desserts. But they also serve cocktails. And small savory plates. And ice cream. Most of the desserts are quite decadent, but they also have cookies and simpler sweets.We picked up pastries to go. I had the spiced blood orange cheesecake. It was tasty, but quite soft, almost pudding-like. This was unusual. Not my favorite, but still good. My husband, however, loved his Rocher mousse, which was made with hazelnut chocolate cake, hazelnut chocolate cremeux, and hazelnut crunch. He also loved the dessert he had the next day, which was essentially a chocolate cake topped with ganache-filled chocolate coated balls. As you can see from the photos, the desserts are beautiful. They run $13 each, which is on the expensive side. Still, for a treat, they are quite worth it.“

“I usually go to the waffle bar in Lakeville, so this is my first time here. The first thing I noticed of course is the lack of cotton candy, so already lost one point there for me. The rest of the orders were taken out to the car after eventually being asked to park on the side of the drive through. Different than most places. Might have to try it again, as the food was very good. Hopefully a little training in customer interactions and direction would help bring new customers back. 3 times had to correct the ordering window about incorrectly placing pronouns. Just don't use them if it's too difficult to use them correctly. Then they snuck in another purposefully incorrect pronoun at the end. Customer service is not their forte, but at least the food was cooked correctly. Definitely workable with the right directives from management. They advertised their special of buy one get one half off of their Ensalada de Manzana (Apple Salad) which is a delicious sweet treat filled with fruits and vanilla yogurt topped with whipped cream and vanilla wafers. They also have a variety of different smoothies, ice cream, and savory snacks. It was a pretty loud and crowded seating area. The lady who took my order was very fast in preparing my order.“

It goes with everything.The cheese curds aren't firm like Culver's. They are soft with a lighter breading typically. Sometimes, if they are cooked longer, they become crispy. I've experienced both, and the cheese curds are good both ways!I have heard people say they actually prefer their chicken over places like Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. It is very good, I remain neutral on that debate, though!The dessert is good. Their shakes and mixers are nice. Culver's is better in this category, in my opinion.All orders are made to order, and it's always fresh. Staff are friendly. The inside is typically clean. There is handicap parking, I can't recall if the doors have a button to automatically open, though. I don't think they do if I had to guess.Parking: Plenty of parking. I drink Diet Mountain Dew and they did away with that.... that sucks. I like the Raspberry Ice, it's the best but only in summer. The turtle sundaes are still a little above average. Concrete mixers are pretty good kind of like a blizzard. The mushroom Swiss I'd good but not as good as Hardee's. I like their onion rings a lot, the French fries aren't cooked long enough. An elderly man asked for some help with an ice cream cake and was told the price list is on the wall and was told just pull the cake out and put it here in the counter. However he was too weak to do that and someone should have helped him. I was standing there in line so I helped him carry the cake to the counter and the clerk put it in the bag which was great. “Insomnia Cookie is the place to go to get a fresh gooey cookie right up until 3am. Expect to stand outside in line as this place is small and they typically have quite a few customers. The staff know their clientele and are pretty chill. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in need of a snack.“

The staff here was super nice the other day when we visited. Even joking about the total. Very simple menu, we ordered a small Oreo blizzard, which I think came to $5.29? And my husband got a chocolate malt, I can't remember his total but the all-around total came to about $11.50? Service was quick, nice Shady overhang while you wait, the staff was friendly, there is a tip can, for cash, because there is no way to add a tip when you pay by card! There is a lot of available parking across the street on the street ,parallel parking. The business across the street is a bank, so after hours, it's very empty.
