The Wayzata Bar & Grill is locally known as “The Muni”. It caters to locals - but you’ll be welcomed and treated like a local as soon as you walk through the door. The place is welcoming and usually quite busy, though they somehow seem to always have a table free. The food was delicious! I asked my server if they could provide samples of hazy ipa so bf could decide which one he would like before choosing, and she pretty much huffed at me in disgust and then said maybe 1 or 2. I told her not to worry and waited for my bf to get to the table and told him to just choose 1 since it seemed to be a problem otherwise. Maybe she was having a bad day. We were in Wayzata helping our daughter & family move into a new home on Monday, May 15, 2023. So in mid-afternoon we went to Wayzata Bar & Grill for lunch. It was a bright sunny day, so we chose a table outside. The name is not very imaginative, but the menu is varied with great choices. My wife had the Lobster Roll and I had the Salmon Poke Bowl. Both were done nicely and tasted very fine. Service was pleasant and prompt by Chi. We would be glad to dine here again sometime.
