“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were hungry, we saw the sign and swung into into Allycats Sandwich Shop up in White Bear Lake, and lemme tell yous guys, it's got that Satriale's Pork Store vibe, mixin' it up with some good ol' Southern flair. Now, picture this – I'm a vegetarian, right? And with their heavy southern menu, I started to get a little anxious like I was about to get pinched for racketeering. But to my surprise, they had a veggie burger on the menu that had me praising sweet baby Jesus on this glorious Sunday 🙌 Now, my hubby, he isn't shy when it comes to meat. So he sat down with his Nashville Hot Chicken like Tony Soprano sitting down to family dinner hosted by Paula Dean. The Sriracha tots caught our eyes, so we gave those a try. And with that mojito lime ranch sauce....I'll I could say was 'bada bing and slap my mmama'😋 They're a whole new level of yum. And the staff? They're as friendly as sweet tea on a Southern porch. “We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “I drove by this hidden gem weeks ago and finally was able to stop in for lunch today. I gotta say that this is some of the best tasting food I have experienced in Minnesota since returning home. I tried the Picadillo meal which was perfectly seasoned and not over salted like some places do. The rice was a perfect consistency and a freshy made salsa added a little kick to the meal. The customer service was top notch and I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. A+++”

“Went to the friends and family event this weekend. Love the vibe and atmosphere, the bar is large and great set up. I had never had the pizza before and thought to myself “ what’s so special ?” But it was… great texture, perfect flavor and good size. We also had the stuffed pasta, perfect collaboration of flavors …. Great addition to St Paul downtown , looking forward to Palace theater events! Love this Wrestaurant! ❤️”

“My daughter and I went here because I was on the search for an amazing Affogato. They did not disappoint. The owner was super sweet to my daughter and pulled strawberry gelato out of the freezer even though it wasn’t on their menu that day. “We stopped in by accident on a Friday night. The food is incredible. The cook really understands herbs and spices and is making everything from scratch. Not being familiar with Ethiopian food, we randomly ordered samosas, lamb tips, beets and lentils. Each dish was a mouthful of delight. The beets were my favorite and my friend who does not like beets loved this. Not at all convenient to my house, I will gladly drive for this food and sweet little restaurant.”

“i haven't tried the food so i can't say. but i got in a disagreement with the bartender this evening, and said that i was leaving, i'm a hair short of six feet and 250 pounds and i'm loud, usually unintentionally, and people always think i'm angry. So i'm sure the bartender took it that way. so he instantly gave my card back and said no need to sign i'm good to go. very friendly about it too. this was after an evening of exemplary service from him, but he didn't give me a chance to tip since we were disagreeing. what and excellent and principled thing to do. i like this bartender and can't wait to go back, also i did insist on tipping.”
