38 Best Sandwich Shops near Battlefield

“I ordered online, picked up in person. I was kindly greeted and told to have a great day when I left. My sandwich was exactly how I wanted it. I was impressed to notice a worker not just wiping the tables off but also wiping all parts of the chairs off too. Great place, will definitely go again.“

“Very helpful in deciding what to eat because it was a first for me! Very calm atmosphere! Service was incredible!“

“Such a tiny place but serving BIG portions & BIG flavors. We had the Yo' Adrian Cheesesteak w/fries..PHENOMENAL! We absolutely love this place & looking so forward to visiting again.“

“There isn't anywhere around sw missouri that gives you this kind of quality in food and the homey atmosphere quite like this place. This is a must visit no matter who you are or how far out of the way you have to go just to come here. The subs are on point, the pizza is fire, and the wife and I already made plans to come back and enjoy the well priced seafood that they serve!“

“Very excellent fries and enjoyed their hotdog very much! It's my 3rd time Here I live one hour away I will come again.“

“I did not really care for the chicken salad, cox hospital is better. Not saying it's terrible, but seemed dry and mixture is finaly ground like is was in a blender. The cheese broccoli soup was not up to par. Cookie was good. Doubt if I will go back. Wawa on easy coast is a lot better.“

“3/4/22 lived here since 1984 and first time to eat there. The best sub sandwich I've had in Springfield. Will be back“

“So many yummy sandwiches for cheap prices, definitely worth the hype!“

“I'm a huge fan of JMikes as it is and this location stands head and shoulders above every other store that I've been to. Good portions, great energy, great speed, and perfect sandwiches. The crew tonight (7/10 6:51pm) is on top of their game also, eat here!!“

“Jersey Mike's delivers a fantastic dining experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. The sandwiches are expertly prepared with freshly sliced meats and flavorful toppings, creating a meal that is both satisfying and delicious. The restaurant offers a comfortable setting with plenty of seating, making it a great choice for dining in or taking food to go. With its commitment to quality, freshness, and excellent service, this is a standout spot for anyone looking for a delicious and convenient meal. Highly recommended.“

“Goodcents, and this location in particular, is my go to sub shop. Its my favorite Italian since starting college in the 90s. Today I wanted to get an early start on Super Bowl Sunday and every page I could find said they were open at 10. Google, Facebook, Yelp and even their individual corporate page agreed that it was 10 instead of 11, but evidently no one told the manager or employees. I rolled up at 10:25 to find a couple employees working but doors locked. 3 other cars arrived and left because they weren't open. When the doors opened at 11, meat and toppings were still being prepped. I nearly walked out, but you know, hunger. My bread was stale, a first for this location. Normally a 9/10, but today 7/10, will still eat again.“

“I've been eating at Jersey Mike's for the better part of 20 years now, and the service here just can't be matched. Not only is the service and employee friendliness top teir, but I had the absolute best chipotle cheese steak ever today. They listened to my instructions perfectly and my veggies were mixed in to where the full extent of the flavor was available in every bite. Thank you all once again for being so freaking amazing!“

“The only reason it’s not five stars is the price. $15 for a shallow bowl of salad is too much. It was a very good salad but not worth $15. Loved that they have outdoor seating. My family and I were very comfortable out there and they had someone come check on us a couple times which was nice. This is a self serve, order at the counter restaurant. Their tea is the best! Fresh food and very good.“

“Very kind staff and absolutely amazing subs. Highly recommend 💛“

“Fantastic Rueben!!!! My husband raved about it. Now I know why. Yummy!!!“

“This is a well-managed and well- staffed McAlister's. Food is always great, employees check on patrons and the space is inviting. Only caveat is the space near the front that is closed. Seems like it's been like that for a while.“

“Fast service and awesome food!“

“Very good food pleasant employees HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!“

“I felt like I was literally taking my life into my own hands eating out with the vegetable diarrhea apocalypse going around, but when you love Jimmy John’s, sometimes you have to live dangerously! 😂
The sub was absolutely delicious, and everything was super fast. My cookie was a little hard, but the cashier actually ran out to my truck to bring me a new one! Now THAT is customer service! 👏
Great food, great service, and definitely worth risking my digestive system for! 😂 My only complaint is that I wish you guys had a location closer to home. I’d probably be there way too often! 🥪❤“

“This place is better than any Subway in the Springfield and Ozark area. The staff here are very pleasant. The atmosphere is delightful; they always greet you with a smile and treat you with politeness and courtesy. They never look down on you—even if you come in using a coupon—and they remain consistently polite, friendly, and good-natured, regardless of whether or not you leave a tip.“

“I love a Goodcents sub. I have visited this location many times. Recently I went in at 7:10 PM. They close at 8PM. I opened the door to no one inside. About 30 seconds later a worker emerged from the back. He then proceeded to scoff at me being in the store, while slamming a pair of gloves on. I instantly left. He obviously did not want to make a sandwich. I get not wanting to make your work station dirty right before close, however, it was not close to 8pm yet. Crazy“

“First time trying Firehouse subs. Had the 12inch Italian sub split in half for me & my fiance. We both loved it. Only thing, it was a to go order. By the time I got home in Nixa, the bottom bread was very soggy.
Otherwise, the flavors were delicious.
I will eat there more often!“

“I contacted the manager at the Kimbrough location before Thanksgiving to request an order that would be our Thanksgiving dinner. My son recently lost his wife and this was his first Thanksgiving without her (she was an incredible lady), so there was a lot of sadness in our hearts. So, because my son loves Firehouse Subs, that's what I wanted to do for him for Thanksgiving. The manager didn't even hesitate, she was more than willing to provide the sandwiches and she provided the ingredients so we could make our own sandwiches on Thanksgiving Day. When she called to tell me the food was ready for me to pick up Wednesday evening, she told me something I did not expect! She did not charge me for the food and it was such an extremely nice thing for her to do, it made me cry. When I told my son what Firehouse Subs did for us, he and I both cried, because it was such a kind, unexpected gesture and it helped so much when we were dealing with the loss of his wife during the holidays. It gave me some hope that there are good people still left in this world. Thank you to the Manager personally for this simple act of kindness you did for my family; and thank you to the entire staff for all of their help and patience when I was getting this ordered.“

“We stopped into this subway for lunch between doctors appointments. It was very busy but one of the two employees working, Emily, provided incredible speed and service. She was clearly doing her shift with a newer or just slower employee and gracefully picked up the slack. We got through the line very quickly, which wouldn't have been possible without Emily's effort and dedication to giving every customer there a good experience. She made our order, and every other order we watched her take, perfectly and efficiently. She never missed a beat -- we were very impressed!“

“But guy didn't even know what a cheese mix sub was.....“

“We loved this place and it happened to work out really well for our family. Unfortunately they do not have an allergy friendly menu and they no longer honor the Sunday kid meal deal. They now offer a different deal on Tuesday and Saturday. It’s disappointing that the company doesn’t still do it, but the only issue we had was there was nothing that said it was no longer an option.“

“awesome food... great tasting... a mist do if u r passing thru.. like am....“

“This location is phenomenal. Take that from me, a shift lead at a Jersey Mike’s in Wichita, Kansas. The manager was super attentive and friendly, and the food was spectacular. I would absolutely visit this location again, they are amazing!!!“

“The staff at this Subway go out of their way to make sure their customers receive the very best service possible. They are personable, helpful, and speedy. When my app hadn’t been working, they took the time to ask if i needed any help troubleshooting and made sure I was able to order in a way that was convenient for me.“

“I have been to so many subways over the years, but never, ever has a sandwich looked as breathtakingly beautiful as it did at this spot. Every other location should strive to be more like here. Our incredible sandwich artists, Joel and Makaila, truly went above and beyond—his skill and passion made all the difference. From now on, I won't settle for anything less; this will be the only Subway I’ll be visiting.“

“My order was expected at a certain time, but I arrived early and waited patiently. Shannon saw my order and started working on it immediately after clearing a rather long line. Her team was super busy, but still managed to clear a busy dining area and have my meal ready shortly before I was expected to show up! The best part was that it was made exactly as I had asked. Thanks Indy Subway!“

“Came in hungry and left emotionally attached to my sandwich. Samantha was super friendly, worked fast, and still managed to make everything perfectly. Customer service like that seriously makes a difference. This location is always clean and welcoming too! Will definitely be back!😊“

“We mostly get our meals to go through the drive-thru, but it's still delicious. I'm not a huge sandwich person, but I've never had a bad one there and they're my favorite deli. The chicken salad on a croissant is my favorite and their potato and broccoli cheese soups. Their baked potatoes are great too. My husband could live off of the potatoes. They have a LOT of toppings. The sweet tea is also amazing.“

“I had a coupon when I went to this store. Did not realize I needed the coupon QR code in order for it to work.
I was short the money and told the guy never mind. The guy offered to pay the difference which I declined because I was so embarrassed. Just want to say thank you to the sweet worker.“

“I mean...it's a Subway. It tastes the same wherever you go in the United States.
Is it the greatest sandwich shop of all time? No.

But for what it's worth, this location has never messed up any of my orders or forgotten any of my food.
Exactly what I expect when I order from a Subway. This franchise must be run very well.“

“Absolutely the best tea! Great soups, sandwiches, salads, and spuds! Salads and spuds are huge!“

“Ordered delivery and they made the sandwiches perfectly! I put the order in later than I usually would, they called when there was an availability issue so we could make new choices on my husband's sandwich. Im pregnant and asked for a lot of pickles and they did perfect! Even sent me some extras just in case!! 1000% awesomeness!!!“

“Their new wheat subs are the best! They are the friendliest place to eat and yes they are freaky fast! My top favs are Tuna & the Hunter's club.“
