“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“AMAZING! I'm an east-coast guy living in the Midwest who's been looking for a great place for fresh seafood (sorry Red Lobster) for over 6 years. This diamond in the rough exceeded my expectations. While the majority of the US can't even find a place that serves King Crab (due to supply and demand escalated cost), I found a place that not only has it but has it at a very reasonable price. I had 1/2 lb King Crab, 1/2 lb Snow Crab, and 1/2 lb of shrimp. We must have been there for over an hour while I picked out every piece of crab meat. The way the dish came out was neat (I won't ruin the surprise). I also highly recommend the sweet potato fries. I would give this place a 6 out of 5 stars!“

“We had them cater for our wedding and got nothing but compliments on the food. They were ready to serve as soon as we told them we were ready. We had five boxes of leftover catfish and chicken to take home at the end of the night. Very reasonably priced. We’ve been to other events they’ve catered as well and they never disappoint. Thank you again!“

“One of the true PBJ legends that never disappoints. We are not only fond of out menu choices but we are spoiled by incredible service the moment we enter the front doors. Ask for Larry & start off with the Gnocci. That’s the only advice I would give you. I love this place“

“In town for just a night and went to J. Alexander's for dinner. So glad I did! Best steak I have ever had, cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious as well and all the servers and chefs were awesome. Molly was the best server. Thank you for such an amazing feast.“

“I want to El Maguey with my family for dinner, and overall we had a pleasant evening. The atmosphere is really great, It’s a modern yet traditional style. We got two taco kids meals and they were definitely over priced for what they were. The restaurant was really clean and we had great service. This restaurant is slightly pricey, but other than that I have no complaints.I think it’s worth checking out!“

“I had stopped going to Red Lobster because we had more than a few bad experiences at the one up north in KC. We weren't surprised when it closed.
I was so refreshing to go to this one in Lee's Summit and find the restaurant we remembered and enjoyed. Our waitress was a delight and we were checked often with refills on drinks. Our food was great and we really enjoyed our meal here.“

“A true South KC landmark — this spot is hands down my favorite fish place in all of Kansas City. I always get the bossa with red beans and rice, green beans, corn on the cob, sweet potato pie, greens, and cornbread — plus extra hot sauce and tartar sauce (a must!). “This is far away the best car wash I've experienced in Kansas City for 20 years. A thousand times better than Swift car washes. Everything here is clean everything works its well-maintained it's almost worth bringing your shit here to wash your car instead of doing it at home in fact it is worth it if you're in a hurry“

“I put a note in my reservation that it was my husband's birthday. I thought they would offer a dessert or something, but they did not. They did not even acknowledge that it was his birthday. Other than that, we were seated right away, the food was excellent, and we will go back again.“

“Firebirds is our go to, as it rarely disappoints. They allow us to bring in wine and the food is always solid. A little disappointing was our waiter who started out nice but then rarely came by and then got a little edgy and cold when we ask someone else to grab him and asked for our bill. Young guy names Donovan. Maybe just having a bad night.“
