Atmosphere - MEH. After all, it is a amusement park restaurant. The one redeeming quality is that the outdoor seating area is partially shaded. Service - Good. This is a counter service restaurant, so there is not much service involved. However, I will note that the tables were kept clean as was the utensil, condiment area. Food - Very Good. We stopped for a late lunch with friends after we had wandered around the park all morning. The food smelled delicious and we waited in line to place our order. There were choices of salads, entrees and sandwiches as well as a kids menu. I locked in on a triple pork sandwich which was pulled pork, bacon and smoked sausage. First time to Silver Dollar City! Many other reviewers captured the experience at Rivertown Smokehouse perfectly. Reasonably decent food for a theme park restaurant. Yes, my food wasn't quite hot, yes it was expensive, but it was decent bbq and I'm glad I tried it. Now that my curiosity has been satisfied, I probably would try another eatery next time we visit Silver Dollar City.
