“Food and service was incredible. Steve went way and beyond to accommodate many dietary restrictions for us. We ordered pizza, salad, and bread for 20 of us for an on-site. Food was amazing and loved by all! You must get the Saint Ambrose pizza! Could not have been better! Truly.Vegetarian options: Many great vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free. Have their own isolated convection oven.“
“Elite. In food and service. The pasta has me in a chokehold that I never want to get out of! You can tell that the chefs really put their time into designing and preparing the dishes. I go here a lot and this visit was getting dinner with a friend. The server was amazing. She was attentive and never let our water dip below half glass. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, but it was still easy to have a conversation without yelling and still felt private. If loving Katie's Pizza & Pasta is wrong, I don't want to be right! 15/10 would recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free optionsParking: Large parking lot shared with other businesses. Plenty of spaces.“
“We ordered to-go curbside and were pleasantly impressed with Anthonino’s food. Their curb side service was excellent too, they texted me as soon as I pulled up and brought my order out right to my car.The toasted ravs were everything you could want from t-ravs and the pizza was also really nice, except next time I’d probably opt for cheese vs. the four meat which is what I had. Also, the pasta was awesome. It was simple, but comparable to dishes I’ve had in Italy.Overall, would be coming back!“
“My new favorite pizza in STL! I had the Porky Fig and my friend had the Don Corleone; both very good pizzas!Good beer selection (anything by Log Boat is always a great choice!)Also great to see a lots of people busily and happily working post-COVID when so many places are seeking help and have skeleton crews!“
“Everything was great except the pizza which is sad considering their “specialty” is pizza. Salad’s were large and flavorful, house wine was great and poured generously and the bread was crispy and toasted to perfection. The atmosphere and service were top notch and the pizza was virtually flavorless, very plain tasting and it looked like they put 0 effort into the flavor and prep. of the crust which is sad considering I came here for the pizza. I would return but not for the pizza, everything else was that good.“
“Let's face it, St Louis has never really been a "city that never sleeps" so most of our late night options are limited to fast food and a handful of drunken traditions. There's so many great sandwich shops to choose from in the city but this is the only one open after 9 pm.“
“I am ashamed to admit from the get-go...our food looked so good when it arrived at our table we dug in before taking any pics! Ugh. Once I thought about it I had done enough damage to my salad and plate it wouldn't have been very appetizing. I will say this though...Valentine's Day, sneaking out for lunch with your sweetie, 65 and sunny, AND Union Loafers tees you up for a great day! Happy Valentine's to all and thanks to Union Loafers to making our day even more special. Ambiance is always fun, loud place. We each ordered a chenin blanc, the little gem salad with beets (my favorite salad in STL!). My wife ordered the Turkey Swiss and I had the Bistro Beef. Everything was just outstanding. Of course a loaf of semolina to go. Service was great as always, place was packed. Love, love, love Union Loafers!“
“Authenticity at its finest.Incredibly friendly staff with a glaringly obvious expert skill set. Everything here is superb. The dough is light and airy with a crispy underbelly. Textbook mozzarella ratio but the star of the show is their homemade sauce. They should make an extra batch every week just to jar and sell. We would stock up on every visit. The sauce is the soul of the pizza pie. This one is simultaneously deep AND vibrant - a gastronomic spectacle to behold. Also, if I’m not mistaken, they make their own bread for their garlic cheese bread which is equally divine. Can’t ask much more of a pizzeria while remaining on this plane of existence.“
“Austin helped us out this time, and I have to say he gave some of the best service we've ever got at this location. He was attentive, funny, kind, and overall awesome. I hope anyone who comes here gets him as your server. Keep up the phenomenal work my guy!“
“Full disclosure: the owner happens to be ay friend. That said, it's still a great little neighborhood bar that also serves a nice selection of food. Their pizza is what everyone raves about, but I also had the fried artichoke hearts with a marinara sauce--really tasty. So here's the "Gallery" part: Dave has local artists' paintings up on the walls; everything is for sale, and the prices are actually affordable. The menu has artists names for the dishes, and they spelled all the names correctly!Nice selection of wines and beers, too.All in all, great place to meet a friend or a group.“
“The staff at Failoni's were amazing we came in with a large group of 25 and not only were they able to accommodate us but they also provided expert service. On a busy day at the restaraunt they got all of our orders out together and very quickly... the restaurant had a great Midwest vibe with friendly people and would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Italian food.Parking: Plenty of parking along the street on both sides“
“The service and food were all great! We used the online waitlist tool and were two minutes away when they texted outtable was ready. We had a Cuban pizza, figgy pig pizza, Buffalo chicken calzone and the oreo cheesecake. All top notch and I was too busy enjoying to even take a photo!Parking: Parking is challenging but you can find a spot within about a block usually.“
“Creative, delicious pizzas - both vegan and dairy options. The crust is perfection!!There is no access to the indoors but it's the perfect spot for takeaway or to eat in the fun outdoor picnic area around the corner.Dietary restrictions: Many delicious vegan options“
“Took the wife to lunch on the Hill. This place was amazing! Had the bacon wrapped dates for appetizer. Heavenly. meatball sub was excellent, very good fries. Wife had Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken and loved it. Excellent wait staff. Booked another reservation before we left that day.“
“I dont think the salad making lady likes me. She smiles at all the men and facially scowls at me.....lol. Not a friendly gal for sure but, i go there for the food and it cannot b beat. The cashier guy is super nice and friendly too! Praise “
“A recent reviewer complained that this wasn't "authentic Korean." No kidding! What was her first clue? That the restaurant is in the Bevo neighborhood of St. Louis and there are tacos on the menu? What you do get is amazing Korean-American food cooked with a lot of passion and heart at a great price. I almost always get the Bibambap when I'm starving but I sometimes get the Korean tacos if I'm not as hungry. The pork belly is the best meat in my opinion.“
“Last time gf and I got a slice and it sucked. We knew it was a fluke so last night (friday) we went back and got a full pie. Holy moly that was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten and I eat a lot of pizza. We got pep, cini, sausage, jalapeno and garlic. Get that. You will enjoy it.“
“The dinning was very good and they have a few vegan items. You have to ask for the vegan menu. I fell for the salad that was awesome and the dinner was great as well. I would recommend them for lunch or dinner. Matter a fact I’m going back soon for a larger salad.Vegetarian options: I’m a vegan and they had maybe 8 items to select from. I also ordered a sorbet.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“This is our new favorite pizza in all of St. Louis! We have not tried one here that we did not like - it’s so hard to choose a favorite. The salads are tasty as well. The drinks are great! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Definitely recommend stopping by for all they have to offer. I wish I would have thought to grab some better pictures, but we were too excited to eat!“
“Quality: 10/10Portion: 10/10Price: 7/10 (before inflation it was unbeatable)Service: 10/100 (it feels like a hunters cabin)Recommendations:Their steaks are delicious and filling, great cuts, and reasonably priced. Their tucker burger is so good and its pricing is competitive with fastfood. I hear their buffalo chicken sandwiches are really good. They also have some really good loaded potato skins.“
“Moved into neighborhood and visited Macks for a late lunch/early dinner. I had the Philly Steak Sandwich and my wife had the deluxe burger with bacon. Both were great. Burgers are 1/2 pounders, so we had leftovers. We highly recommend this place. Small business with the Owner waiting on our table and introduced himself. “
“I love pizza !!! This Chicago style deep-dish pizza is at the very top of my short list of pizzas. Here in St.Louis, MO. The cheese pulled from your face to the plate, then still had to cut it. I ordered the Meat deep-dish, with light sause,Great jobI got it for pick up, but friendly staff, and the time was right on point. I will be back for more PIZZA ? . A must stop in and get some. Bring an appetiteWheelchair accessibility: They have ADA entrance and seating“
“1. This pizza was absolutely DELICIOUS (homemade sausage...). The flavor was reminiscent of quality nostalgic pizza of yesteryear. It's really good.2. The owner was there and present and friendly.3. Cash/check ONLY4. Bring in your own salad/apps/alcohol because they don't have them and they allow this. They only have pizza and non-alcoholic beverages.5. The pizza took 45ish minutes to make (they told us up front multiple times).... it's totally worth it.“
“I ordered two $4 Senior specials, one lasagna and one spaghetti and meatballs. The meals come with two breadsticks and a choice of a salad or a slice of pizza. The lasagna wasn’t anything special. The spaghetti with meatballs came with two meatballs. I added a side of 3 additional meatballs for $2. The spaghetti I would order again. The portions were smaller but you can’t beat the price. Both salads were fresh and the breadsticks were delicious. My recommendation on the lasagna is add more meat. The ratios didn’t taste right.“
“I just recently moved to Saint Louis and I hate to admit it to my new fellow Missourians, but I am not a fan of the toasted raviolis I have tried. That all changed when I came to Farratos. The toasted raviolis were perfectly filled, had the perfectly toasted crunch and paired so well with their delicious sauce. The service has always been great here, but Nicole was top notch! She was very personable, knowledgeable and made sure we had what we needed and more. Thank you Nicole!“
“This is probably my new favorite go to pizza spot. The food is super delicious the people are beyond nice and the prices are super reasonable. In St. Louis people think imos is the in all be all for stl style pizza but this place is the one.“
“While wandering around St. Louis, I found myself around the hill and thought Italian thats what I wanted for dinner. And could I remember the name of the place a friend told me about? "Onesto!" I shouted in my car, and I was off. Onesto is a small Italian place nestled in the Princeton Heights neighborhood; it is completely surrounded by residential houses. While I walked up, I was greeted by a little Sinatra and a smiling hostess. She led me right to a small table by a window, perfect for gazing out into the street. A small plate of garlic knots magically appeared and were just about right, lots of garlic, butter, and salt. Might had scarfed down the whole plate before drinks, and like magic, more appeared. I had the house sangria, which I can't remember what it was, but it was very tasty. Then the waitress took my order. I had the cannelloni, which was stuffed with beef and pork in a tomato cream sauce and topped with mozzarella. It was delicious. It came with an overflowing Caesar salad and more garlic knots. After that wonderful meal, I was too full for dessert and headed home. Overall, great little Italian place, food hit the spot, and the service was great.“
“I was in town for the tenth anniversary of the brewery Side Project. However, I also wanted to check out the craft beer scene in St. Louis in general and read that this place served a lot of Narrow Gauge beers from their brewery next door. I got four of their beers and they were all great, especially the mild which was amazing and probably one of the best milds that I've ever had and they absolutely nailed it. It is a style that you don't often see outside of the UK either. I also got some food too. I had the chicken wings first and they were nothing special. Next I got the stuffed meatballs and they were absolutely divine. Service was good too and friendly.“
“Great pizza in a great location! Convenient walking distance for us and they have plenty of benches for sitting outside. They also have fans running which makes it a lot cooler if it's hot out! We called ahead and our pizza was ready quickly and still hot when we got there!“
“Excellent accommodations for gluten and dairy allergies. The gluten free marinara pizza was beyond amazing, a soft and chewy pizza base like I’ve never had before. The staff gave exceptional service! Thank you, will be back very soon to enjoy the healthy Mediterranean flavors again!“
“?????This place is great the food is always really good and made in a timely manner and the wait staff really go the extra mile to make sure everything is to your liking I believe our server's name was Tyler great guy really friendly we made sure to give him a big tip I've never had a server like that you can tell he really enjoys and cares about what he does I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know for sure ????☺️????Parking: Theres always plenty of spots to parkKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly they even give out crayons and paper for the kids our kids like the food so much they even drew a picture for the kitchen staff ??“
“Okay, first off: heavy metal pizza parlor? Just take my money. BUT! It isn't just a gimmick. The food is absolutely delicious! We tried the Creeping Death, Meatless Bat, the Thai Curry pizza, and one I forget the name of with pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños. We also ordered hot wings and curry wings with a side of murder sauce. Might be the best pizza in STL, and without a doubt the best wings! Our server Alex was phenomenal. The best service I've had in a long time!Alex: stay rad, dude.Kid-friendliness: We went during lunch on Saturday and my son had a blast checking out the decor and loved the food.“
“Always wanted to try the pizza world joint since I lived in the area for 20 years about. I don't know why I never tried there pizza. It was super delicious and yes it's possible to mess up a pizza. Not pizza world the pizza was on point. Crust was perfect and very good to taste and perfect crunch (that's how I like my pizza crust). Was a little expensive but I'll take it. We will give a second go around another time to see if it's just as good. I would highly suggest the Via Bianco .“
“*edited review*I am updating my original review because of the great service from our server in the bar area yesterday night, 3/26.He was very helpful and accurate and brought a fun personality. I wish i remembered his name.Food was delicous, trivia night was a fun time, & I will be back to support my neighbors.“
“Great concept - beers by the ounce, try one or several. The wood fired pizza is well made, excellent. We had the margherita pizza and the basil leaves are added after cooking, so it's fresh. Pesto and olive oil top it off. Delicious.Open a branch in Kansas City!“
“Pirrone's is a great neighborhood spot with great food and friendly staff!Vegetarian options: A lot of menu items can be vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: I ordered my pizza without cheese and it was delicious. They have great red sauce.“
“I took my grandkids to a birthday party there. The place was very clean. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. And baby I'm telling you the music was off the chain, they were playing old school music. The kids as well as me had a fantastic time. Would differently recommend this place.“
“Would give them more stars if I could. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar tonight (2/25) and the solo server and solo bartender rocked it out. They were busy prior to our arrival and that trend only continued. I don't know of many restaurant staff who could handle a walk-in 12 top, bar guests, and several families with small children who came in at the same time. They were assisting each other, running food (I even saw a kitchen staff member running food), bagging togos, changing kegs, and absolutely *killing* it all while never missing a beat. Food was amazing too!“
“What a cool find. We discovered, as owner hosted kids New Year event. But now I know that there is cozy bar in STL that serves tasty food and offers variety of drinks. And it looks like there is something new going here every day. Definitely, on the list to come back again…without kids :)“
“@deweyspizza 5/5 Will return. My wife's first time and wanted to try to white sauce. It was the best pizza she's had. Lexie and Zoe were amazing. There was a mess up in the kitchen; which doesn't happen often. They helped address it right away. Service was great. Clean and lively. Enjoyed the low key staff hints that we were waiting. Shows good communication imo.Vegetarian options: Large amount of veggie options as well as you don't get meat cross contamination at a pizza place as far as i know.“
“A classic diner experience! Got seated fast and got our order taken right away. The sandwiches were fantastic. I recommend the pastrami. The burger was good too. The shakes were thick and creamy, and the malt was mixed to perfection. Totally worth the price. Would become a regular if Iived closer for sure. So many options!“
“First time at Picklemans. Staff was upbeat and courteous. Great value for the money. Restaurant clean. Bread was fresh, vegetables fresh. Lemonade was awesome. The chips were a brand I wasn't familiar with, but they were delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that the chicken salad was a bit bland. Otherwise, I would recommend and will go back again.“
“Tried one of the RFT's top 5 that has the distinction of having been honored multiple times for serving the best St. Louis-style pizza in the region — without actually using Provel. It had a great crust, the cheese and toppings were good, too. It was ok, but you couldn't taste the sauce. I would definitely try again and ask for more sauce.“
“This pizza is ALWAYS delicious. It's definitely one of my favorite pizzas for sure! Hand made crust, always hot and tasty. (And I mean tasty-yummy- delicious!) Loaded with meat ( I always get the meat specialty pizza).Definitely worth trying if you haven't. You will not be disappointed. Seriously, one of St. Louis' best, thin crust, (Saint Louis MO style) pizza. I'd put this one above the most popular STL pizza! Delicious EVERY TIME!!!“
“Charlie Gittos at the casino was a nicely appointed restaurant. Servers and staff were friendly and efficient. We sat by a window by the casino hallway, and found it a bit noisy from ambient restaurant noise. Salad wasn't as good as in the past from the hill and Downtown locations but ok. Tortelini was very good.“
“Family owned and operated. Big variety of liquor/beer. Love the secret recipe house made margaritas! They also have great pizza and delicious chicken Caesar wraps.Come Fridays and Saturdays in the summer for their outdoor patio. Live music and a stocked bar.“
“It's been years since I've been here and so happy that I visited because now this place will become a staple in my rotation. Friday evening visit around 6p and happy that seating was available without a wait. Open seating, opted for a space near the kitchen. Now, normally, seating near the kitchen wouldn't be appealing, but the overall vibe here makes up for the open kitchen view. Starving, I wasted no time ordering. Glass of Malbec and for the meal, Chicken Pesto sandwich, sauces on the side and Side order of Tots. The sandwich was awesome! Chicken was juicy, Bacon was crisp and the toasted buttered bread rounded it out. I enjoyed the mustard aioli with this better than the pesto that it comes up, so I recommend getting the sauces on the side. The tots are housemade and feel like mashed potatoes turned into tots. They are tasty also with the mustard aioli. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit and will be here more often.“
“Absolutely love Dewey's Pizza! Family atmosphere but also could be date night too! We love sitting at the bar, ordering a drink, watch sports if we want (hunny loves it because we are limited with channels at home) I also like sitting there because I can watch the kitchen. They are talented lol. Their pizza reminds me of my childhood pizzeria so I go for pure comfort sometimes, great restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible“
“Great beer and pizza! Everyone there is amazing to chat up and hang out with in Frenchtown. Great local chill vibe. My favorite pizza is the Vampire Death Wish pizza, I add banana peppers which totally completes this dish. The food is delicious and super fast and the beer menu has all the usually suspects. The only negative is they didn't have any diet non-beer drinks.“
“People working here are great, funny and friendly. But why do I have to pay extra for a "specialty" pepperoni lovers pizza and there's hardly any pepperoni on it? Used to be you couldn't see the cheese there was so much pepperoni on those, not anymore.“
