“Stopped in at lunch time and picked up lunch specials and deals for my whole office. They were busy midday on a Friday on this cold January day so I thought, 'I'll park my van behind the building and avoid the busyness up front'. My dumb self got my van stuck in the snow for the first time ever. A staff member named Adrian used his entire 10 mins smoke break (or lunch) to help dig me out. They didn't have a shovel so he literally used a pizza pan with a wood handle to shovel the snow and breakup the ice before laying pizza boxes down for my tires to get traction. Everyone in St. Louis knows about and loves Imo's pizza, but what they may not know is that their staff is truly second to none. I'll definitely be back to support these wonderful folks that care about their customers.“

“I recommend going in and then picking it up because when you get it delivered often times it won’t be as fresh. When you walk in, they will normally make you a fresh one and it’ll be super good. Their Caesar salad is normally good if you order on DoorDash, I actually have tried ordering from different places like a grubhub and it hasn’t been as good.“

“We stopped in yesterday for lunch at the recommendation of friends who live in the area. So glad we did—everything was delicious and customer service was top notch. The kids devoured a cheese pizza and my husband and I ordered a half Dr. Dre and half Tito Santana (seasonal). Both were amazing! We also split the peppercorn ranch salad—which, with its homemade dressing was also amazing. We’ll be back when we are in the area again!“

“I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “Absolutely delicious pizza. Tried it for the first time yesterday and it was the best tasting pizza 🤤 Great prices too!! If you are looking for wood fired pizza this is it!! Don’t waste your money at Peel Wood Fire Pizza in Clayton unless you like overpriced soggy pizza, made that mistake once, never going there again now I know how good this place is. This will easily be one of my food staples and I will probably be here weekly. Already craving it again!“

“I grew up going to Montebello’s. Last night I went back to check it out after many years away. It did not disappoint. The new owners have kept all of the vintage charm but added a brighter, lighter ambiance. The food had all my old favorites, especially the T-Ravs and pizza. “Favazza’s is a well-known and respected Italian spot on “The Hill”, St. Louis’ Italian Neighborhood filled with old delis, charming markets and upscale Italian restaurants. Our extended family is a big fan of Favazza’s, so we go from time to time with them. We went last week with my Aunt & Uncle, and it was great. The dining room(s) are charming, but getting a bit dated, in all honesty. Since it’s on “The Hill”, it’s not necessarily an issue, but in any other neighborhood, I think others would agree with me that it needs some sprucing up. Regardless, the ambiance has a fancy and classy feel to it. The service we had was fine. Everyone is dressed up and respectful, but sometimes the service lacks personality at these places because they’re so worried about being “ritzy”. This is the case we had last week. Regardless, also a fine experience in this category. The food was DELICIOUS last week. We started with the Toasted Ravioli. You can tell it’s the real-deal — the filling is excellent. Our entrees were also phenomenal. I got the Chicken Limone and it was tangy and luscious. Genuinely one of the best Italian dishes I’ve had before. The dinner salads, side pasta and phenomenal garlic bread were an added bonus. Favazza’s may be older and their service may lack personality, but their food is nothing to scoff at. A very solid 4 Stars from me.“

“A larger to-go order went in right before ours. Communication was great, we weren't in a hurry, my son played pinball while we waited. My pickle marg was delicious, but omg the Meatless Bat pizza was AMAZING. Even my son's cheese slices were delicious. We live over an hour away, but will definitely be back!“

“The parking lot was filling up midday on a Monday when my wife & I stopped by Cugino's for lunch, but tables were still available & the friendly waitstaff were keeping up with the crowd. Time between ordering & meal delivery was as expected considering the customer load on the kitchen, and our orders came out hot & well prepared with generous portions. My wife was very pleased with her Chicken Spiedini Sandwich & side of Shoestring Fries. My French Dip Sandwich was very good, with flavor enhanced by a subtle beer-based au jus, and my side Cup of Chili was spicy but still flavorful. We each had a half-sandwich to take home for that night's dinner at home, which is always a bonus feature for us. This was our 3rd lunch visit to Cugino's Craft Kitchen, and we will definitely return.“

SO happy we did, we never heard of Mellow Mushroom but it quickly became one of my new favorite Pizza places. Such a cool ambiance! “I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“

Ham and cheese on a Gonnella roll. I love a Gonnella roll because it reminds me of my childhood in Chicago. Ham was good but nothing special. The provolone melted nicely and the veggies were very fresh.“
