“Came in from out of town, we placed a breakfast to go order. Biscuits & Gravy hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage links. The Biscuits were so good! I should say everything was good. We also ordered a cinnamon roll... Boy, let me tell you, it was really good and so BIG!

“Oh my! By far, the BEST, Mexican style eatery I have ever been to! Authentic food, large portions, and not too bad on the bill fold. While they don't have a large area, they do deliver next door to Woodys bar and have an outdoor section for nice days. If you get a chance, try them out. Delicious!“

“Cozy Cafe is a great name for this place. It's pretty small and the tables are right next to each other. That did NOT stop the great service and the wonderful food. I highly recommend the pancakes, they were delightful. And warm syrup was default, not something that I had to ask for. Definitely will go again“

“On 9/12/2025 my husband and I were having dinner at Papa Chubbys. We were there on our motorcycle as it is Bikefest weekend at the lake. My husband had a medical emergency as we were eating. There was not a person that was working there that did not jump in to help us. Our waitress was amazing. The girls that came from behind the bar to call 911, and help us, were amazing. The gentleman that brought candy and a cupcake to help get his blood sugar up, was amazing. The people sitting at the table next to us, I am not sure what I would have done without their help in that moment. They kept me calm, they helped me take care of him. Everything. This place, the staff, the people are absolutely top notch. We will be spending more time and money going forward at Papa Chubbys. Thank all of you for everything.“

“Had one of the best meals we have had at area restaurants after 2 1/2 years in being in the area. Our waiter, Jace, won our “best ever waiter award”. He Explained all our questions and was correct in what he told us. Have definitely won over new customers!!“

“They had outdoor seating near the swimming pool for the inn. The view was spectacular. Kenzie was an excellent server. She was knowledgeable about the daily special and helped guide us to the perfect bottle of wine. We enjoyed a meat and cheese board. Those marinated olives were wonderful.“

“Delicious! Our first time trying their restaurant, and everything thing on my plate was delicious. 10/10 for sure. Can’t wait to come back. Our server/owner was Nancy. She is such a sweet giving woman. Very hospitable and expedient. She made sure we had plenty to eat and was always refilling our drinks.“
