“We stopped by for a quick lunch and found the perfect spot. While the indoor and outdoor seating areas are on the smaller side, the setup is ideal for a fast dine-in experience or grabbing food to go.
The staff was amazing, providing quick and attentive service, and the overall ambiance was incredibly cute. As for the food, everything was fantastic. We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos, which were flavorful and paired beautifully with their house sauces. To top it off, the complimentary chips and salsa were absolutely awesome.“

“Cozy Cafe makes a superb breakfast. And your stomach will feel cozy after eating here! Delicious biscuits with sausage patty and sausage gravy. I had a vegetable omelet with salsa and it really hit the spot. They have real butter, black peppercorn and salt grinders, and a nice selection of hot sauces, including Tapatio, Tabasco, and some from Louisiana and Texas. Quiet, great service, and it feels a liitle bit like visiting grandma's house, complete with fresh banana bread.“

“I have had dinner here few times this summer. The food is always good. If they would serve bread, it would be a 5 star. He mussels are delicious, but you really need some bread to go with them. The only bread they have is cornbread that is an additional charge. I’ve never been to a restaurant with no bread available……?“

“Backwater Jack’s is always a great time and one of my favorite spots to swing by at the lake. Even though the weather rolled in with cloudy skies and a little rain while I was there, the atmosphere still delivered. The view overlooking the water was calm, peaceful, and relaxing for the afternoon, but you can absolutely tell this place knows how to turn up the fun when the crowd rolls in.

The food was fantastic and full of flavor. Stevie, my waitress, was phenomenal — charming, attentive, and very helpful with recommending the Garlic Chicken Pasta, which definitely did not disappoint. Service like that really makes a place stand out, and she made the whole experience even better.

I’ve been here before and always had a good time, which says a lot about consistency. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside meal, drinks with friends, or a lively time later in the evening, this place really offers the full Lake of the Ozarks experience. I’ll absolutely be back again soon.“

“Fries are usually good, this time around they were hard and tasted like they were sitting around for awhile. Staff kept trying to bring us other people's food, while we were clearly eating. Asked waitress multiple times for drinks and she kept forgetting. Asked for a lime in my beer 3x and never had received the lime. This is my favorite lakeside bar/ restaurant in the area but thia time it really fell below expectations.“

My wife doesn’t like making decisions when it comes to food. We were very pleased! Definitely recommend for a date night!“

“Spoiled steak, poor service The manager came over to talk to us but never offered us any kind of discount. We had to wait over 10 minutes for silverware. They forgot my daughter's drink. My second streak was supposed to be medium and it was raw, I didn't bother to send back, I'll take it home and cook it on the grill. Our drinks were never refilled.“
