“Had one of the best meals we have had at area restaurants after 2 1/2 years in being in the area. Our waiter, Jace, won our “best ever waiter award”. He Explained all our questions and was correct in what he told us. Have definitely won over new customers!!“

The squid salad was so tender and fresh, and we couldn’t decide which we loved more…the Tokyo roll, the Tsunami roll, or the White Tiger which was almost considered dessert it was so, so good! “Baxters is one of my new spots to dine! Great people at this place! Chef Corey was amazing to talk to and the only one that knew the ingrediants/flavors/spices to my favorite steaks in the world, a Florentine Steak! I knew at that instance I was going to give this place a try. Talking to Ted ,the owner of Baxters ,about my bad experience at the restaurant next door,(JBH) and them charging us over a $120 for one plate( price was not concerning, but them hiding it until we ate the worst food in our fine dining experience was!) that included frozen lobster that could not be eaten all the way due to it being so tough from being frozen too long and not getting silverware for over 20 minutes after the dinner was served, he gave us confidence in his restaurant by personally inviting us with an open reservation of our timing and at any spontanious moment and showing me the kitchen which could not be exceeded in cleanliness or matched in appearance and professionalism. My business in serving commercial kitchens gives me the insight into many restaurants and this experience guarentees our return. Total recommendation in all they provide. Oh and lets not forget the service, top notch, there was not an empty glass or dirty dish left on our table more then 5 seconds and the timing of our courses insured a complete experience with no time to wait! “Went to Docknockers because it was right down the road from our air b&b. We ordered a bucket of crab legs-potatoe skins-buffalo shrimp.
The crab legs were amazing! (4clusters)
Bar service was excellent! Believe the hype-Chris is the best! Great bartender and awesome to talk to about the area and the lake itself. We are only here for a few days but this establishment alone will keep us coming here all the way from Minnesota (9.5hr drive).“
