We needed egg and gluten free cupcakes for an important event in the MU School of Music, and Alanna did a great job! I always want to be inclusive of food allergies, but most bakeries don't offer accommodations. Getting both egg AND gluten free in one cake was a big deal. A gluten-eater even had one and declared them so good, they were the cupcakes he *wished* he'd had at a recent celebration, instead of the ones served! And on top of being delicious, they were absolutely beautiful.

I ordered a cake for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday party and it became the centerpiece of the party! The design was beautiful and was only matched by the flavor and texture of the cake and icing. It was absolutely delicious! The icing was perfectly creamy, light, and fluffy. The cake was spongy and had a great flavor (we had lemon in one layer and vanilla in another). I will definitely order from Alanna again!!
We would like to thank Sugar, Butter & Flour Cakery for being such a great community partner! We were lucky enough to build 4 homes in 10 days with volunteers from all over the nation. Alanna helped us welcome everyone in classic Missouri style with the best gooey butter cake, cookies and cupcakes! Four families were able to become homeowners because of this event and we could not have done it without everyone coming together!
