“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. Thanks again, Rico!“

“Great food! Awesome service! These guys are great! They really want to make sure you are happy! Food is great! Wings, Brisket, Brisket Rueben and Pattymelt , all excellently prepared. Cassidy who usually waits on us from the bar is so nice! She is the best Bartender/ waitress because we always sit over there so we see her! Is awesome! She is a friend now and alaways makes sure we have what we need! We are happy Nubbies is here in Oakville. Tina and her husband are doing a great job! “I have been there numerous times since they have opened and never disappointed! The cuban sandwich is delicious! So are the turkey, pulled pork, and smoked brisket sandwiches! The homemade mustard based potato salad is delicious as are the seasoned fries and tater tots. So many good options so definitely going many more times!“

“TreauX is now coming out to the Legion in Fenton one Saturday a month. We attended the first Saturday and are hoping that it is the start of many more. “Ate at Cafe Smoke Shack recently. The food was fantastic. Service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. Giant portions, well prepared & we were all extremely pleased with our meal. "Stan, Matt & Marlowe were charming and cordial to all. The owner (Matt/Chef) is one of the nicest and most hospitable folks you'll ever want to meet. Truly cares about his customers. Stay clear of Bill... Why you ask? He was a smug, rude & a disingenuous individual. Brought in six (6) people & spent over $300.00 with no other customers dining that day. He acted like he did us a favor. All of the other employees were wonderful.“

“Salt + Smoke Ellisville recently hosted a Southern Wine pairing event that was nothing short of exceptional. One of the two owners personally hosted the evening, even taking the time to refill drinks, which added a personal touch to the experience. The intimate setting, with only 14 guests at the table, made the event feel exclusive and cozy, allowing us to connect with fellow diners and share plenty of laughs. The menu was a delightful journey through Southern flavors, featuring cheesy jalapeño cornbread with hot honey, a hearty seafood and sausage gumbo, smoked chicken with grits and greens, and a decadent peach cobbler with bourbon butter pecan ice cream. Each dish was served in generous portions, ensuring no one left hungry. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Salt + Smoke provided an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, great company, and a genuine sense of camaraderie. I highly recommend attending one of these exclusive events the next time they have one!“

“We went here and got the ribs, chicken, greens, sweet potato’s and the sweet tea. Everything was so yummy! One thing to also add is that everyone was so nice!! We where going to stop by on our way back to the airport but we where running late and didn’t have time
I would 10/10 recommend to anyone in St.louis.
The cashier was so nice and gave us free samples of the sweet tea and asked if we wanted to change the sweetnes and when the kitchen gave us green beans instead of collared greens she gave us both with no added price. Everyone including customers helped us when we were struggling with the ordering screen.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.“

“I ordered the corned beef sandwich with french fries and a pickle spear. I received a thick stack of corned beef which was nice. The corned beef had more fat in it than I like. The french fries were not cooked enough. I could tell by the color then confirmed when I bit into them. The french fries did not have the crunchy texture although they were seasoned well. I received great service at the bar. The restaurant has a fun vibe to it. They have a very large parking lot in front of the restaurant.“

“i have been there several times and always call ahead for a table in the bar area. i love the bartender my drinks are always fast and taste good , i alway love the bands because it is a older group of peeps ,like me , but they are loud ,sit in the bar at the high tops and you can see all the bands and the peeps dancing and the girl bartending i think is jamie is so friendly“

“The restaurant has very narrow aisles, making it difficult to pass someone standing or walking. The service was good, the drinks and appetizer came out quickly. The entrees too a while to show up. The restaurant was busy, but not that busy at 3 p.m. It got busier later and there was a wait when we left.“

“I came to visit St Louis and saw a video of this place on TikTok, and we got the oxtails with cabbage and yams which are so tasty the meat is very tender. My wife got the rib tips, Mac and yams and the Mac was amazing very cheesy. Definitely the place to check out“
