“Best place to eat/snack in the mall. Several years ago my daughter got hooked on the lemon bowtie pasta salad to the point she would ask me to stop in and bring some home. She finally started making her own. Today I grabbed a snack box with whipped ricotta and olive oil, crackers, pecans & dried strawberries, and fresh pears. Omg. Im gonna have to stop in and bring some home now. 😊“

“Perfect for your favorite coffee, grab something already prepared at Dierburgs, and have a spot to work on your computer or meet a friend. I was leary because I knew there was minimal space, but this is inside a super big Dierbergs and there is a mezzanine with plenty of tables and booths and free wifi. If you are sensitive to smells, you might choose other though. There’s a combination of coffee and all the other grocery smells that kind of lingers. Otherwise, it’s great!“

The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

Coffee is pretty consistent (similar to the other locations) with seasonal drinks and house-made syrups.

I believe the food options are the same as well although I didn't try any at this location.

Stylish, cozy, and trendy. Great for casual hangs or solo coffee runs (music can be loud though).“

“Amazing place with an ever changing menu where a lot of their menu items are made in house. I had the fish and chips last week and the stand out were the house made chips and macaroni. Billie my waitress was very attentive and making sure that everything about my food was served correctly and even made sure I got my appetizers before I left.

“Pulled into HIVE Cafe with my kids while my car was getting worked on down the street… honestly just needed somewhere to survive for an hour. Instead?? We found a hidden gem. The food was so good my kids went silent… which honestly felt medically concerning at first. The service? So friendly I briefly considered asking if they wanted to adopt us.And the space? Cozy, clean, and cute enough to make me forget I was there against my will. At this point I’m not saying I want my car to break down again… but I’m also not not saying that. 11/10. Would fake a mechanical issue to come back.“

“Really great vibe to this place as a soccer fan! We got the recommendation to come here to watch the Europa league final (which Manchester United sadly lost to Spurs) and we were pleasantly surprised to find the vibe to be exactly what we were looking for. The owners were really friendly and we chatted a lot on soccer, Man United etc. Their TVs have access to watch soccer all around Europe which is great. We ordered drinks and food too which was excellent, plus it was extremely reasonably priced. Definitely would go there again especially when there is a big game.“

“I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich with tomatoes, provolone cheese, tikka masala sauce, crispy onions, banana peppers and salt and pepper with a side of sun chips and a Coke. 15 dollars! It was a quick, cheap lunch with friendly, fast service and the owner is so sweet! The atmosphere is perfect for students with ambient music and plenty of seating. It’s very quiet and peaceful, and they seem to have student discounts! If you’re a student, try it out. Otherwise I will be back!“

“I've been to several Kaldi's locations around the area, and this is one of my favorites. Right in downtown Kirkwood near the shops and train. Each Kaldi's has its own unique food, and the avocado toast and breakfast burrito here were both excellent.“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“
