Copia West County Mall

I realize I'm KICKING A DEAD HORSE here because this place is finally, mercifully, closing its doors. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because my husband and I would occasionally read their reviews on Yelp for entertainment. I was a huge fan of Copia downtown back in the day, so I was interested in trying the new location. Seems like anytime a restaurant leave the city for "greener pastures" in the county, things go downhill quick. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. The decor and wine selection leads you believe you're about to have a high end dining experience (the prices will also lead you to that conclusion) but that was not my experience. There was nobody here on Wednesday night. Service was great from Lisa. We had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly to medium rare. They have a very nice wine list by the glass or bottle.
