“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Taco Rico. Food is fresh and oh so good. Reminds me of being in my grandmas' kitchen. When I say everything is good, I mean EVERYTHING is good. Don't even get me started on the staff!!! They will always have my vote. Yes, sometimes they are closed during their normal business hours, they (family & staff) run business and life happens. “I try to explore local eateries and coffee shops whenever I’m on work trips, and I have to hand it to Fitti’s. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy, the coffee was amazing and I also tried one of their brownies - everything was fantastic. The day I visited was kind of rainy, so the vintage lights glowing and the soft music playing was reminiscent of when I watch those “coffee shop jazz” videos on YouTube. I’m excited to return!”

“We were hopping from winery to winery today and the two ladies working today made our experiment at TerraVox a 10/10! They were very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed their job a lot! We had never been here before, and were visiting a friend in KC and will definitely be back next time we’re visiting the area! Left with two bottles of the port wine. Lovely winery and experience!”

“Tonight we came to Thai Orchid for my birthday and sat in Dylan’s section and he was outstanding! So friendly and attentive. He gave us just enough time without being pushy. Our food was wonderful and fresh. I cannot recommend this location enough. We ordered the soft spring rolls, steamed dumplings, shrimp yellow curry and the shrimp pad Thai. Delicious!”

“Burgers are good, onion rings were excellent. Last time we went, they were out of onion rings. This time, we called before we went and was told they had onion rings. Twenty minutes later as we were placing our order, we were told they just ran out of onion rings. We left. How do you run out of onion rings? It’s really simple. If you consistently run out, order more. We will not be going back.”

“We stopped there today for the first time because we heard it was so good. And it was amazing. Want to try everything on the menu. It was hard to choose because everything looked so good. And everyone loves everything when reccomending what to eat. The owners are so friendly and gave us samples to try. We had the warm chicken spedinni sandwich with Alfredo sauce. Awesome!”

“Jim and the team there care, a rare commodity in this day and age. A friend of mine accidentally left behind his son’s teddy bear, 6 waitresses and Jim studied the picture and took down our numbers. Jim was in the back, one of the waitresses (wish I knew her name) said to hold on that Jim would want to be involved. Think about that, a waitress willingly involving a manager, and the manager CARED. 10/10 would recommend, good food, better people. I wish this business nothing but the best. 🙏”

I always bring a couple slices of pie and cake to my parents for their birthdays, and Mom always calls to thank me for them. She is always happy that she and Dad can share a slice of pie. definitely The Baker's Table. (now I'm craving their chocolate cake.)”

“Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot. It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good. The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate here is getting to explore local spots like this and share them with people who are discovering Parkville for the first time. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in.”
