The only issue with this breakfast is you only get two pieces of bacon! Everywhere else we get 3! We always get coffee, 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast or Biscuit! “Honest Review of Billy Gail's in Branson, MO I recently visited Billy Gail's in Branson, and overall, it was a good experience with a few ups and downs. Starting with the positives—the service from my server and the front-of-house supervisor was excellent. Once I was seated, my server was attentive and friendly, and the food was very good. The portions were generous, and the flavors were exactly what you’d hope for from a place known for homestyle cooking. However, the initial impression wasn’t quite as welcoming. The hostess gave off a rather cold and distant vibe upon arrival, which set a bit of a negative tone at the start. Additionally, it took about 20 to 30 minutes before I was even greeted by my server. It turns out she hadn’t been alerted by the hostess that I had been seated, which explains the delay—but it was still a bit frustrating. Despite the rocky start, the good food and strong service from my server and the supervisor made up for it. I’d definitely give Billy Gail's another try, especially since the food and service (once it got going) were solid. Hopefully, they can smooth out the front-of-house communication to create a more welcoming first impression.“

“Billy Bob’s Dairy Land is such a fun place. It’s small but don’t let that fool you. The food is great (real ingredients) and service is spectacular! Another diner suggested requesting caramel for the sweet potato fries. They will do this if you ask and yum! Make sure you save room for those little pies they have. Sorry, we had it gone before we thought about the picture so you’ll have to trust me on that one. We will be making this a regular stop every time we’re in Branson. There are many pie flavors for us to try!“

“We were very happy with our recent experience at Mountain Top Grill. We were a party of 4 celebrating my parents' anniversary and had great service and really good food. We loved the venison tenderloin and the truffle chicken tortellini. The wrap and flatbread were just ok, but not bad by any means. We were even treated to a special dessert since we were celebrating, which was very unexpected and generous. The cheesecake was huge and we all remarked on how good it was. We booked a reservation after seeing good reviews and mention of the great views. We were not disappointed in either. I'd highly recommend booking a table around sunset to enjoy the beautiful views at their best.“

The price per person was very reasonable for all you can eat. Our server was very accommodating and brought us refills on each item we requested. “There were 9 in our group when we dined at Chili's this past Saturday evening (7/19/25). We were seated quickly, our waitress was fantastic and our food was awesome (as always). I ordered an El Nino Margarita and it was perfect. Kudos to the bartender! Seven members of our group were from out of State and every year when they come to Branson they always want to eat at Chili's!“

I’m guessing she gets abused frequently by customers and was probably having a horrible day last time we went through there.

“Downstairs from the Osage Restaurant is the Buffalo Bar, a great alternative to the restaurant if you do not have the required reservation at the Osage. The establishment is only open between the hours of 4 pm and 9 pm, however, tables are abundant inside and on the huge patio. On clear evenings chances are good that you will be seated quickly.

On our visit, the hostess showed us to our table within a minute of arriving. Before long our server Makayla welcomed us and enquired if we knew what we wanted to drink. The punctual service continued without our meal which began with delicious complimentary mini loaves of fresh bread and rosemary honey butter. Such a fantastic way to start a meal.

This unique rustic, western-themed bar is just as much a restaurant as it is a bar; in fact, it features the same menu as the restaurant above it. If you looking for a cheap meal, you won't find it here, however, you will get a meal and an atmosphere that would put a smile on the late President “Teddy” Roosevelt's face. Yes, your wallet may groan a bit when you pay for this five-star meal but your tastebuds screaming for joy will drown it out.

To keep the billfold moans down, I decided to skip the very tempting beef options and go for the bone-in pork chop. Because the sides were $12 a piece, I opted for just one: the roasted corn. My girlfriend got the roasted chicken and did not notice that the sides were not included, so she ordered the sweet potato mash and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing and full of flavor!!

The pork chop was cooked as I ordered it, keeping its moisture and tenderness. It was easy to cut with a butter knife. Her roasted chicken was the same, just as sweet and juicy, not under or overcooked. The sides hit the spot as well. Even the pickled pears they garnished my plate with went well with the pork chop and the divine chocked cherry dipping sauce.

“On a beautiful sunny afternoon I rode my goldwing motorcycle through town. I'm not one to treat myself, but thought "what the heck" and stopped at this particular Denny's. JP(short for Jennifer P) welcomed me like family and helped me decide on a black coffee, lumberjack slam with caramel banana cream pancakes on the side. I enjoyed the flavors as if trying them for the first time all over again. The food was not greasy and the coffee was not weak. All in all I was extremely happy with the meal and friendly service. “During a recent trip to Branson, had a pretty nice dinner with my wife. For starters, were were seated and given a nice cornbread appetizer. It was OK, but nothing terribly spectacular. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, which had tomatoes on it.......not terrible, but was peculiar. Finally, the main course, my wife had the mahi mahi with shrimp and sauce. Her fish was overcooked but the sauce was to her satisfaction. I had the Kansas City Strip with Crab Cake and mashed potatoes, and was very pleased with the cook (it should be noted that I am somewhat of a steak snob, so a cook to impress me is quite some doing).“
