It’s honestly unbelievable how often customers are completely ignored at this location. Most of the ordering screens don’t work, and there’s no indication that they’re out of service, so you’re left sitting in your car assuming someone will eventually take your order. Then, when you do find a screen that works, you’re told to go through the drive-thru. Last time I checked, Sonic is designed for customers to order at the stalls.

God was for my nephew and my sister, turned out great. Jackson drive, independence Location.
I am a regular there with using the online app. I have to say out of every location in the Independence and Blue Springs area, this location is hands down the BEST sonic I can possibly go to! The staff is always amazing, on time, very friendly. They always go above and beyond what any other location even tried to do. The crew at this location need to be known that they are doing a wonderful job, and they take it serious! Thank you to this crew! Thank you!

Sonic Drive-In offers a variety of decent-priced food options, including fresh and hot burgers, mozzarella sticks with marinara dipping sauce, and tater tots. Their delivery service is fast and efficient. While their cherry limeade is usually a hit, it may sometimes be too bitter due to unripe limes. It is recommended to have more product restrictions in place. Parking is ample with numerous slots equipped with menus and speaker systems.
