“Many, many years ago" late 70s" when I first had Mugs Up. Lived in kC, Independence, Lees summit. Mugs up was a couple times a week thing. Moved away in 91, back to Ga. Everytime I go to KC, to see family and friends I also have to visit mugs Up, my favorite as well as the Pizza Fun House.“

“Captain D’s is a cool fish and chip place. The staff are friendly and hardworking and the food is good. I got take-out but the dining area is cool and I’ll probably eat in next time.

“I have to say that the Gochew burger was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. I'm fond of cheese as well as sauces and seasonings. I went in not expecting much out all. I saw the advertisement and didn't really consider that much care would go into making the sandwich. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much love that the burger received. I was even prompted at length if I wanted to try a double or triple patty instead of just a regular burger. The staff was very friendly. I definitely would like to return at some point, especially since it's not far from where I'm staying.❤“

“Food and service is always great. If they do mess up, they always make it right with an abundance of free food, which totally makes up for it in my opinion. It's fast food, but they serve you at your table. It's a great place to go out to eat and have ice cream with the family without breaking the bank! Love it.“

“We were there for the Kentucky Fried Chicken part of the restaurant, and even before I ordered, the lady working the front register let me know that due to an oven breakdown, they did not have any biscuits prepared. But she offered me extra large sides to go along with our meal to compensate for the lack of biscuits. I thought it was great customer service that they let me know up front what was going on and they had a solution to offer, and that actually worked out great for us! We ordered a 20-piece meal and waited only a few minutes for everything to be prepared and ready to go.“

“I mean, it's Taco Bell. No one should be going there expecting any food more fancy than high-sodium, need-a-taco-right-now kind of goodness. In addition to the tried and true menu, go there for the great customer service, clean dining room, and the round-up opportunity to contribute to the company's education programs for employees. This location is well-managed and has yet to mess up my order. Solidly 4 stars.“

“I drive-thru this Taco Bell in Independence one to three times every week, and it continues to impress me every single visit. The drive-thru is consistently quick, the team is friendly, and a few of them even greet me by name, which is something you don’t see often anymore. “My food was hot and ready to go. I had cheese sticks and Alfredo pasta. They were tasty but they could have been more generous by filling up the tiny cup of marinara for the cheese sticks. The store is easy to find and access. It was clean and the atmosphere was okay. The staff was not friendly. They were not rude but felt more like an assembly line than genuine enthusiasm for me as a paying customer.“

I was on my way home(Blue Springs), decided I wanted something to eat, not really a big Arby's Blue Springs fan but yet here I was, the lady that took my order was exceptional, no much so that instead of grabbing a sandwich and heading rest the way home, I ended up with a large meal and 2 extra sandwiches for eat in.

“I’m not sure what’s up with all the bad reviews. I live near this location and I enjoy stopping here every once in a while. I’ve tried several menu items and everything is always yummy. Service is always friendly and fast. Tonight I stopped by around 10 tonight and got a smash burger with fries and ocean and an Oreo blast. They brought my food in under 5 minutes and it was all hot and fresh. Carhop was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the smash burger with the pickles and sauce! The blast was perfect amount of mix ins. Store deserves way more stars. Lowkey have to force myself to not stop here every time I drive by.“

“This place has really stepped up their game with the manager they have now. They must keep her she is absolutely awesome. Every time I have ordered the last three times I have gotten fresh food and everything is exceptional. The green beans are to die for. I'm going to start eating here more often since they finally got their stuff together and everyone else should try it too. Love this new manager I don't know if she's new or not but she's amazing“
