We are not from Joplin, we’re on a road trip and our home base is in Wisconsin. I’d give this place 10/5 if I could. No fuss crab shack but has everything you could want from a casual seafood joint. Here’s what really stood out to us: when we got there it was just us, a small family of three and then a younger man who appeared to be a single dad with his daughter. Went with my son yesterday. We have been to similar restaurants throughout Springfield and Roger’s and not one of them can hold a candle to the Smoking Crab in Joplin. Hands down the best. The food was AMAZING and so was the service!
First time for my daughter and I, definitely not our last!! This stuff is off the charts delicious 😋 If you like seafood this is your diamond in the rough!!
