Community minded, they had a bus out front offering free mammograms the last time I stopped by (which is too long ago). The duck had heirloom carrots with hazelnuts. The steak was served with beef fat potatoes! Seriously Delicious!! We took home a piece of the chocolate ganache cake. Can't wait to enjoy it later!! As beautiful as it was delicious, our 2-tiered wedding cake & dessert bar was conceptualized & baked by Bloom Baking Company. Our dessert bar included: mini tarts, macarons, brownies & lemon bars. Cake tastings are $25 & goes towards the price of the cake. After inquiring online & our tasting, Sarah quickly set-up an in-person meeting to review our ideas, make suggestions & put together an invoice. Sarah & her team were incredibly thoughtful & considerate of both our desires & budget. Thank you Bloom Baking Company for creating such a delightful dessert experience for us & our guests. Not a bite went to waste! Our only regret is not ordering more! Looking forward to the next time I can taste Bloom!“

“We hosted my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration at Be Free Family Farm last Saturday, and I couldn’t recommend the venue highly enough. It was perfect. One of the best things about the space is how adaptable it is. I’d been to a high school grad party there before, and I can’t think of anything further from a 50th anniversary than that! Be Free fit both perfectly. We had around 100 people total, with about 60–70 at the peak, and it was a little crowded but in an energetic way if that makes sense. It was mid-July and pretty hot outside, but the indoor space stayed cool the whole time. I’d love to host something there in the fall with the garage doors open. I’m sure that’s the perfect balance. Carl, Jennifer, and Scott were fantastic. They helped with setup, made sure we had everything we needed (including things we didn’t think of until we got there). Carl was quick to offer a ride for guests from the parking lot since we were dealing with mostly older guests. Scott and Jennifer helped welcome people inside and out, literally opening doors and showing people around. The sound system was great. They helped me get it going, and now I obviously want a Sonos setup at home 💀💰💵 Shout out to Apple Music for the ‘1975 pop rock’ playlist that was an easy option for a 50th anniversary. We catered food from Zarda BBQ in Blue Springs. I picked it up myself and ordered for 60, but we ended up with more than enough. Be Free had some catering equipment that we used. Here’s a text I got from my mom, 1/2 of the guests of honor: “Everyone said it was a great party and it truly was. Perfect place, perfect food. “After finally stopping to try the Bahn Mi, it has become a weekly part of our diet! The food is incredible and so fresh. The pickled veg in the Bahn Mi is everything! The bread… omg. My favorite is the Special with extra pickled veg. Also anything with the Pate’. Steamed Pork Bun! The staff is so friendly and attentive! They also have coffee and pastries!“

“My dad raves about this bread. When I visit home, I always stop in to stock up my parent's freezer. Their favorite is the unsliced Italian loaf. The store does not accept credit or debit cards...cash only. The guys who work here are helpful. Parking is a bit limited, but it's a very small shop. It's usually not very crowded. People can shop quickly and get in and out without any problem.“

“We ordered cinnamon roles to be picked up a day in advance for a brunch we were hosting. We had ordered from the catering menu. We received a call from store manager Eric the morning before picking up our order. He recognized that we were likely ordering food for the next day given our pickup time was 5pm. He talked to us about our order and revised it to cinnaPacks to save money. I felt this was great customer service to take the time to make these alterations to our order. I picked up my order and food was ready when I got there. Of course, the roles are delicious! And the cold brew was good too. I believe Cinnabon rolls are consistently good most places that you go. But customer service at this location takes it up a notch! Well done.“

“I had a hard day and needed a pick me up, so I decided to go get a cinnamon roll. It was exactly what I wanted, the pastry was hand rolled, dripping with cinnamon, sugar and butter. You could see each individual layer, simply baked with love! It was huge, well worth every penny, and I enjoyed every bite. The owner was in the kitchen and I asked if he would come over to meet me, he did and I complemented him on his food and the time and passion he put into each roll. We laughed and talked for a while. I told him that I drive past several locations just to specifically come to his because of the consistency of his products. He thanked me, I thanked him and my day was a little brighter!“
