I first sampled Emilie's French Teas at the Des Moines Tea Festival a couple weeks ago. We made a stop by their shop while in Kansas City. We were met with a friendly, knowledgeable person that not only helped me with my online order, but gave us some history on pu'er and how it became a fermented tea. Great experience! Wish we could have stayed longer.
I absolutely love it here. Been going for years. Emilie is incredibly nice and we've become friends over the years. She has an incredible selection of teas of all types, and the atmosphere is quiet and cozy. She sells teas, tea cups, anything else I could need for a cup of tea. I've been going for about two to three years now and I love it. It's my absolute favorite tea shop in town.

Emilie's French Teas is a cozy and welcoming restaurant, known for its knowledgeable and accommodating service. It is a charming, peaceful tea room, an adorable little spot with a wonderful tea selection from France. Sells loose tea by the ounce, or you can sit in and order by the cup or pot.
The staff are spectacular, super friendly, and very knowledgeable about the different teas they offer. They provide excellent customer service, helping customers choose the perfect tea for their needs. Customers can enjoy a pot of hot tea and some delicious madeleines and purchase some additional tea to try at home. The restaurant is an excellent place for breakfast, tea, or celebrating special occasions.
