Stockyards, they got the meats. Well I got the brisket, burnt ends(they charge a 4.75 extra for the burnt ends) and baked beans. The meats were juicy tender and had beautiful smoke flavor they did not need the BBQ sauce that was supplied on the table. 3 stars for the departure - service was good food was just OK. Let’s face it, it’s not coming off the smoker lol. 0 stars for the arrival, wanted an IPA on my way to the Uber, dude ignored me! Picked up his phone and i said “excuse me sir” and he looked up at me and back down. That’s unacceptable. If this was my business I’d be ashamed. 6:30pm 3/13

The Stockyard Tap Room Brewery is my FAVORITE brewery in Kansas City. It is such a warm and friendly establishment with the best staff ever. I’ve never had unpleasant experience in the several years that I’ve been going. It’s a home away from home. If you want a nice intimate place to have a conversation and throw back a few beers this is the place to go.
