About Founders' Lounge, Dining at Kauffman Center

Founders' Lounge, Dining at Kauffman Center offers a spectacular and inspired culinary experience, though the service can be slow, and the atmosphere might feel clinical and stark, more suited for a "ladies who lunch" crowd than a cozy date night. The portions are small and the prices are high, but the food is undoubtedly good. The restaurant decor can be sparkly and beautiful, especially during special events like the holiday Winter Wonderland "pop up." The menu features unique options, and guests have praised the cranberry whipped feta dip and the housemade eggnog.

The limited seating means reservations are recommended to enjoy the gorgeous view from this unique dining establishment. Guests have noted that the service is often helpful and friendly, with plenty of staff ensuring a clean and efficient dining experience. The convenience of valet service is also highlighted. Overall, Founders' Lounge provides a delightful dining experience with reasonable prices, making it a great way to kick off a night out, whether for a show or a special occasion.

If I could give more stars I would. Our server, Kate was amazing and out of the world!
We stopped in before a show. The hostess was amazing!! Service was ok. For some reason the server didn’t leave water in our table, which every other table had. We ordered the ricotta and the calamari. Both were very good. The atmosphere was less than pleasant. We had a table behind us that thought every single person in the restaurant wanted to hear every word of their conversation. Clean restaurants. Great views of the city.
A gourmet venue with a view, designed for dinner prior to Kaufman Center events. We enjoyed chestnut top salmon on cabbage confit. Not particularly generous (I guess that WAS the side : ) but a delicious sauce. We also enjoyed a chocolate mousse/poached pear dessert - with a sesame brittle chunk that I would buy by the box if offered!
