“So proud of the Lamar DQ staff tonight. I went through the drive through and my kids noticed one of their coworkers speaking to someone outside. A woman was sitting on the ground and the DQ employee was standing next to her. I asked the girl at the window if everything was ok. She said the the lady was homeless and was asking about a shelter in the area. I went over to make sure everyone was ok and safe to find out that 2 employees were checking on her and had given her water, and the manager had stepped over next door to get her a blanket. They were taking her to fill out an application to stay in a church based shelter in town. Bravo to stepping up and helping someone in need. ❤️❤️❤️“

“Tonight we stopped an got a deep dish pizza with Canadian bacon,bacon, extra cheese. We got home an something on this pizza was very soured!! We could not eat it my husband ate a piece and said this is Lamars pizza? Yes from our favorite Pizza Hut! It was no good I tried a bite an I had to spit it out! Every time we go to or through Lamar we always get Pizza Hut pizza it has always been the best we have ever ate but tonight it was awful!! We hardly ever get that way unless there’s a ball game!! I’m not sure we ever want to try their pizza again!! Please check your ingredients before giving it to the public. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else tonight!! “The food being burnt the first time we hate here was not expected, but the staff quickly remade it, and the second time around, it was decent. Overall the food is ok for taco bell but I just recommended the freezes more than anything from here and food is usually better towards night so if we order food from there we wait till later to order it. Overall I'd give it a four star and amend them for how clean they keep their location. Haven't seen one restraunt in Lamar that's as clean as this taco bell inside and out. Overall I give it 4 stars!“

“We have been here several times. It's a normal stop on out way to and from the lake. It's a particularly good Subway. The staff is friendly, fast and the food is always good by comparison to other Subways. We tried to go today, but they were closed for Easter. Some may be frustrated by that fact. Not me, I respect ownership/management for valuing their coworkers enough to give them their family. Kudos to you all!!!“
