“Amazing service and the food was exceptional. I got the fish curry - delicious flavor with perfectly cooked fish. Everyone was happy with their food - my young kids. I’m just traveling through St. Louis, otherwise I’d be back again for sure. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: My child likes plain raw tofu and steamed vegetables and the chef came out from the kitchen to make sure she understood exactly what we needed. They got it all just right.“
“Good Thai food. Have had better but the flavors and drinks were all on point! In my opinion the service was below average I felt very rushed from the moment I sat down with my group. A few of the orders were not quite as ordered and a fair bit of confusion.Dietary restrictions: Both Vegan and Vegetarian along with gluten free options!“
“Went here for date night. Very nice inside with flowers on the table. The service is very fast. I have food allergies and I knew I couldn't eat alot of the things on the menu, my boyfriend loves this place and we went here mostly for him, but I was able to have steamed broccoli with noodle rice and carrots and shrimp with no seasoning, they did offer sauce that doesn't have any garlic or onion, but I was still afraid so I just ate it steamed. It was very good. I like how they can accommodate for allergies.“
“I've lived in Saint Louis for about a year and a half and am moving this week. I've been to iNDO 3 times since moving here. It is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I came as a final goodbye tonight and it was so bittersweet! I can't believe this place isn't rated higher on Google. Absurd. The food has layers of flavor, is interesting, fresh, and always so well done. Dishes are clearly so well thought out, with visual, textural, and flavorful elements that just scratch an itch in your brain. The quality of the sashimi is superior. I sometimes forget we're in Saint Louis because man, that is some good fish. The service also never misses, with knowledgable staff and perfect coursing of dishes. Thank you to everyone working there for giving me such fond memories!!“
“I am new to St. Louis from Florida and Indian cuisine is my absolute favorite! This place was amazing and THE BEST I have ever had. On top of that, the service was excellent! Sindhu is amazing. She was attentive and explained everything so well. I will be back soon and hope to have Sindhu as my server!!!!“
“We came here during our spring break vacation and loved everything about this place . The food was scrumptious, amazing ambience and the proximity to our hotel in downtown couldn’t be better . After a full day of fun with kids, it was great to have a place nearby to just walk to. My kids loved the food too . The staff is super friendly and were very kind to get our food out super quick . Absolutely recommend the Spicy Calamari and the Panama curry .“
“The food was hot and delicious. The service was excellent; very attentive and knowledgeable.Very, very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The only unfortunate business process was that they charge a percentage of you pay using debit/credit card. If you pay using cash is not an issue.I will be a returning customer paying with cash.“
“This is the most delicious Thai food that I have tasted. The quality and robustness of flavor is unmatched. We are lucky to have this dine-in or carry-out restaurant in our city. The quality is the best you will eat. I enjoyed the Tom Kha Kai soup the most. Support a family run business and enjoy the most delicious Thai food available. The love here is in the flavor. Quaint, romantic and delicious. Best Thai food ever!!!“
“The food was fantastic. I had the pineapple fried rice and the spring rolls. The pineapple fried rice was enough for 2 people. The pineapple tasted fresh and sweet. The spring rolls were light and the sauce was perfect. The service was great.“
“was having a bad day so my parents doordashed me food from here (ty mom and dad) and it really improved my food. quantity was on point, flavors were on point. pad thai was some of the best i've had in stl once i added some spice to it, and i loved the carrots and potatoes in the curry. comfort food at its finest“
“My husband and I ate here last weekend and it was terrific! I looked at their menu online before arriving, and I think it was slightly different from the menu in the restaurant. They were also out of the first thing my husband wanted to order, but neither was a big deal to us. We ordered dumplings, khao soi, and the sausage entrée, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant is in a cute little storefront in Maplewood's historic downtown. The vibe is no-frills, but cozy and warm. Service was welcoming and quick, and I liked the hand-painted mural in the restroom. We'll definitely be back!“
“This evening was my first time trying Thai Nivas and I will absolutely be back! They have a very big menu. My fiancé and I both enjoyed our meal - we definitely recommend any of the curry. They had 1 server for the whole floor while hosting numerous big groups (including a party of 20+), and still made sure we got our food as efficiently as the kitchen could produce our order.“
“This is a tiny neighborhood restaurant with inexpensive dishes. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. There were plenty of parking out front. They had mediocre decor and ambiance. I would recommend a quick lunch at this restaurant if you crave thai food.“
“I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. I love this place! The food is always great, I have never had anything here that hasn't tasted great. The staff is always so nice and friendly. I always look forward to getting food here.“
“Ordered carry out from there last night and everything was absolutely delicious! It’s under new management so the way the food is prepared has changed quite a bit and is a lot fresher and flavorful than under previous management. It’s seriously some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Crestwood area. I just wish they would use non-plastic/styrofoam containers and switch to more environmentally friendly biodegradable packaging.“
“I have been going here since I was 2 years old and Thai country cafe has never failed to produce the BEST shrimp pad Thai AND crab Rangoon in St. Louis. Their food continues for 16 years to be fresh and had not changed in taste. I will always come here❤️“
“Yum yum yum. I called ahead since there were 10 of us coming in & they had the table ready with no questions! It's a smaller area so if you do have a larger group I would definitely call ahead. Tried almost everything on the menu & it was all amazing. I don't think you can go wrong! Parking is all street parking so don't try to drive directly to the restaurant!“
“If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Thai meal in St. Louis, look no further than Chao Baan. This hidden gem in The Grove offers a wide variety of dishes from all over Thailand, including the ever-popular pad thai, crispy spring rolls, and tamarind whiskey. The pad thai at Chao Baan is some of the best I've ever had. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauce is flavorful and balanced. The crispy spring rolls are also a must-try. They're light and crispy and the dipping sauce is delicious. If you're looking for something to drink, the tamarind whiskey is a great choice. It's tart and refreshing and pairs perfectly with the food. The service at Chao Baan is also excellent. Our server, Leon, was friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.Overall, Chao Baan is a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Thai meal. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend“
“Second time here and today, I came here for lunch. It wasn't busy. Staff was very friendly. They greeted us by bowing, I love it! Veggie spring rolls were fresh, crunchy, umami + more delicious with the red sauce. Pork bun was rich flavorful, I love it! But I was hoping to get traditional cuke salad, all I got was lots of lots of sliced cukes with giant onion pieces swimming in watery sesame oil. Also the prices skyrocketed. :/ booo.. I am hoping to get more from this cute little place next time.“
“It’s truly heartbreaking to see all of the people leaving negative reviews for this restaurant. The owners are kind hearted and hardworking people who have been contributing to St. Louis’ diverse restaurant scene for years- it’s important for hole in the wall family owned restaurants like Yan Wu to exist and continue adding to the social and cultural fabric of the city, as more and more go out of business or are replaced by characterless chains. Please take a second to try and examine why you are so quick to judge a minority owned business and label the owners as “rude” due to communication barriers or assume they are talking about you when they speak in their native language rather than impulsively attempt to put another local restaurant out of business.“
“I always hear that Thai Table is one of the best Thai restaurants in St Louis and, after my first visit, can assure you that the hype is warranted! We tried it all and everything was delicious! My stand outs were the Tom Yum, Pad Thai, and the Summer Rolls.“
