German food was mediocre. I was disappointed the applesauce wasn't homemade. Also if you say German Chocolate Cake be sure to say its a very small cupcake not a slice for almost $4.

Dutzow Deli & Restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere but serves really good food. The breakfast is fantastic with great service and cleanliness. Specialties like German Cottage Fries and Jager Schnitzel are highly recommended, along with Pork Chops and Apple Chutney. The beer bratwurst is also delicious. Many guests have enjoyed the fried potatoes, which are very tasty, and the bakery items are popular. The restaurant is a great place to stop, especially for those traveling or biking along the Katy Trail, where the quick service and friendly staff make the experience even better. The food is consistently good, and the homemade desserts are a hit. Although they close the grill at 1:30 PM, just before their scheduled closing time, the quality and flavor of the food make it worth a visit. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service ensure that diners have a pleasant experience each time.
