“We tried another ,new to us , eating establishment , the Filipino Bakery Cafe & Market . This place is a cool cultural step into a very good experience . They offer a restaurant , banquet area , & complete bakery & store . We tried the Chicken Adobe Combo , Pork Menudo Combo , Pancit Bam-E & Lechon Sisig Tub . We took a good portion of each home to savor later along with an Ube Yema cake slice & a Kakanin Sampler , for dessert . EVERYTHING was a real treat , very tasty . Everyone should try this place .“

“Service was on the slower side during the morning rush, which wasn’t ideal. I was also a bit confused why they had to ask what drink I ordered when it was on the receipt. Otherwise, it felt like a typical drive-thru experience. The Scrambled Egg Sandwich came out hot. The Large Bubbler Drink with Green Tea tasted watered down.“

“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“

“I went here yesterday to try it out, I love an independently owned coffee shop! Fantastic! Great menu with interesting drinks, they do decaf so I got a dulce de leche and it was delicious, not overly sweet. Next time I was to try the Ethiopiacchiato (I think it’s called). Very kind welcoming service. Nicely decorated, great music selection…. Vibes all around. I think I might make it a biweekly work space.“

Everything sounded so good it was tough to decide what to get. We all got different meals to share and all of it was delicious! And pretty big portions, oh it was SO good. “Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“A small and wonderful Boba Tea cafe with smoothies, coffees, sparkling juice sodas, bingsu shaved ice desserts and more! They have games to play in the cafe. Everything can be customized on the order screen- type of milk, how much ice, variety of boba, sweetness level and more. Just tried their chocolate bingsu— amazing! And seasonal hot coffee was great.“

Excellent food and service. However, they have recently updated their menu with higher prices. $4.15 for coffee or tea!!! Ouch. Never have I ever seen coffee or iced tea that expensive. Food prices are reasonable. Beverages for two people cost $8.30, the cost of a breakfast burrito. What gives??“

“We order delivery from this place quite frequently at work, and it is TOO GOOD! They have soups, salads, sandwhiches, and desserts. It's perfect for a quick bite to eat for lunch, or for a full meal. The portions are generous regardless of if you get half or full orders. The whole salads are huge, and even the half salads are pretty big. You can do a lot of customization as well. Food is always fresh and very tasty. Love this place!“

“On the campus of Missouri Baptist University. Limited parking. Mostly a hangout for college students, however we enjoyed it. We only ordered coffee, which could have been hotter. No cookies when we visited. Service was very polite and prompt.“

I asked for a few suggestions because I was indecisive and he made something new to me from the menu but also described a few of his own creations and next time I’m in I hope he’s there because I will probably just let him make whatever he thinks I may enjoy. “Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“Aug 11 about 9:30 am. What a wonderful brunch spot. It’s between two sections of a shopping center and at a hair raising intersection but the breezeway was perfect on a summer day. Friendly staff, interesting menu, and a quick correction to an erroneously executed special request. We all ordered a different dish but all 5 of us were happy with the presentation and flavor. And no side-eye for lingering. Wish I didn’t live 300 miles away-I’d definitely come back!!!“

There is a small eating area nearby with some tables and chairs. Usually not a crowded spot, so it's a decent place to get a snack - or even lunch, if you want to avoide the Lakeside Cafe.“
