“My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

The homemade Asiago cheese rolls with a Goat cheese and fig butter was fantastic. My Manhattan fillet was flawlessly cooked to perfection, served with mashed potatoes and a delicious beef bourbon gravy. The chopped Caesar salad was perfectly dressed and delicious. Brendan, our server, was very knowledgeable and enhanced our experience. The only minor issue was the espresso martini, which could use some improvement. Overall, a flawless experience deserving of five stars!"“

“My husband and I drive from Omaha at least twice a year for date weekend and we always dine at Stock Hill. We love love love the ambience, service, food, all of it. It hits the mark for that dreamy, darkish, amber glow ambience, especially in the later months. This past weekend we went to KC on a whim and knew they were booked and decided we would be fine with a seat at the bar. When we inquired about a table for 2, the hostess explained that they were booked and could sit at the bar. We were totally great with that! But the “head honcho” came out of nowhere and told us he actually had a table for 2. The cherry on top? He proceeded to seat us at the table we first sat at when we went there for date weekend years ago. Thank you! 🥰“

“Always a great choice for lunch. I have the KC strip or the salmon usually but the burger and the pork chops are really good also. so it's the chicken sandwich! I go here regularly and the service is usually really good unless you have someone who just started but the food is worth it.“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Not one glass ran empty and was on top of the refills. All our food was delicious. With our large group on an Easter Sunday we could not ask for someone as professional as Lane. Great job Lane!!!!“

“This is a historical restaurant you should visit for the experience! Amazing it's reopened and appears to be doing quite well! Our special occasion was celebrated with friends and family and reservations well in advance! Thank goodness we took the time to do so! The atmosphere is one of the best around, which set the tone for our night! Our drinks were wonderful and taste to perfection! Our steaks were all different cuts, and 4 of the 7 were pretty tough, and kinda disappointing! We dealt with it and never complained or let it hinder our evening! The flavors were good for the food! The escargot appetizers were the best we'd ever had! Our entire group was overly impressed! In addition, the members of our group that had never tried escargot was filling up on the delicacies! Great choice! Parking can be a bit of a challenge with apartment buildings all around, and a half lit lot! We'd definitely visit again to give it another try and enjoy out evening out! Our next visit, I'd request to drop everybody off at the front entrance and find a parking spot afterwards! We hope you enjoyed your evening as well as we did!“

“Husband ordered the Ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly. Steak was extremely tender and flavorful. I ordered the ribs. I prefer a dry rub so it was a little saucier than I prefer but it was still very good. Meat fell off the bone. Mac n cheese was good as well. Waitress was very attentive and service was quick as we go there right when it opened. I will return again but next time I will also get the steak.“

“My husband and I visited Saltgrass tonight, anticipating the normal fantastic food and service. As always, our food was excellent, and our server was phenomenal, however an unpleasant scene we witnessed really left a sour taste in our mouth for the evening. As we were dining we witnessed the General Manager, Vernon Blazek begin yelling at a young lady right in the main dining area. He concluded the scene when he yelled “Go home. Bye!” As a Human Resources professional, I can say that had one of my managers treated a subordinate in that manner, especially in front of our customers, that would have been the first and last time that occurred. When my husband addressed the issue with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, ending our conversation by rolling his eyes, stating “Sorry I ruined your dining experience” and walking off. To say we are incredibly disappointed in tonight’s experience would be an understatement.“

“We were served quickly and our food was excellent. The Crocktail was tasty. Our waiter Brian was great. He was very attentive and so friendly. Server William was pleasant and did a good job setting up our food. I need to come here more often when I am in town.“

“We were seated on the top floor, a very interesting mix of new decor, artwork and very old, exposed rafters and beams nicely showing the age and history of the building. We were greeted almost immediately upon arriving and seated shortly after. Our waiter was a very friendly and courteous young man. The service was very good, the atmosphere was very quiet so my wife and I could converse without struggling to overcome background noise. The drinks were very good and a nice wine selection. I had an excellent filet and my wife had an excellent pot roast, topped off by a very tasty apple crumb cake dessert. Our meal came to about $100 each which, overall, we thought was very reasonable for the overall quality of the dining experience. Ample (paid) parking right next door. This was our first time dining at Anton's but we will definitely be back.“
