I ordered the corn soup, excellent flavor & the seabass which was cooked to perfection, the light outer crust was exceptionally well cooked. Our staff was punctual & friendly.“

“My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

“I treated one of my good friends to dinner this evening before he leaves for basic training to be a proud member of the United States Army and was absolutely blown away.

From the ambience to the entire staff, it was an absolutely perfect meal. Our server Mendy was incredible and could not have been more pleasant and attentive throughout the entirety of our meal.

As far as the food went, I had the fillet and lobster tail. Both were cooked to absolute perfection and easily one of the best meals that I’ve had and recent memory!“

“My husband and I drive from Omaha at least twice a year for date weekend and we always dine at Stock Hill. We love love love the ambience, service, food, all of it. It hits the mark for that dreamy, darkish, amber glow ambience, especially in the later months. This past weekend we went to KC on a whim and knew they were booked and decided we would be fine with a seat at the bar. When we inquired about a table for 2, the hostess explained that they were booked and could sit at the bar. We were totally great with that! But the “head honcho” came out of nowhere and told us he actually had a table for 2. The cherry on top? He proceeded to seat us at the table we first sat at when we went there for date weekend years ago. Thank you! 🥰“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. “Service was amazing. Drinks fabulous and so really was everything else just for the price we had wanted perfect steaks. Now, they were perfect on beef quality one was just a bit cooked to much. We ate it we paid for it still worth eating so, not a complaint just a point and why I didn't do 5 stars. Still would recommend as everything was really worth the journey and beef quality was amazing and the steak wasn't seasoned with anything but beef so we were over the moon.“

“My husband and I visited Saltgrass tonight, anticipating the normal fantastic food and service. As always, our food was excellent, and our server was phenomenal, however an unpleasant scene we witnessed really left a sour taste in our mouth for the evening. As we were dining we witnessed the General Manager, Vernon Blazek begin yelling at a young lady right in the main dining area. He concluded the scene when he yelled “Go home. Bye!” As a Human Resources professional, I can say that had one of my managers treated a subordinate in that manner, especially in front of our customers, that would have been the first and last time that occurred. When my husband addressed the issue with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, ending our conversation by rolling his eyes, stating “Sorry I ruined your dining experience” and walking off. To say we are incredibly disappointed in tonight’s experience would be an understatement.“

Came today about 3:30pm party of 4. 3 adults plus a baby. Greeted and sat quickly. Our server was Katie. Great customer service, did well checking on all her tables, patient and very friendly. The food took no time to arrive. I had the delicious 3 course meal. House salad, fries with a cooked medium well blooming burger with no special sauce (by choice) and a cheesecake with chocolate syrup. My mother and brother informed their steaks were a little over salted. But, overall food was delicious. Menu is affordable with filling portions.“

“Such a great place. We got the bone marrow, 8oz filet, and added a lobster tail. Honestly, the -1 star was mostly our fault. The filet came out overcooked and we should have had that corrected. We tried it and our first bites were fantastic... but from the center. Most of it was too done and dry. We just don't like sending back food.“
