“The best food. The service is a perfect act they put on for your entertainment. They are super chill and so much fun to just chat with. The environment is so great. I had the best seat this last time we went and I wish they could mark it as my favorite so I could sit there all the time, but I've never had a bad seat. Music is wonderful. Lighting is light but it's perfect. The chairs at the tables are even perfect. It's one of my favorite places to eat. The cost is well worth it and the excellent service is a huge bonus which makes the cost so worth it.“

“My husband and I drive from Omaha at least twice a year for date weekend and we always dine at Stock Hill. We love love love the ambience, service, food, all of it. It hits the mark for that dreamy, darkish, amber glow ambience, especially in the later months. This past weekend we went to KC on a whim and knew they were booked and decided we would be fine with a seat at the bar. When we inquired about a table for 2, the hostess explained that they were booked and could sit at the bar. We were totally great with that! But the “head honcho” came out of nowhere and told us he actually had a table for 2. The cherry on top? He proceeded to seat us at the table we first sat at when we went there for date weekend years ago. Thank you! 🥰“

“My wife and I celebrated our 54th anniversary tonight at Eddie V’s. The food was terrific and our waiter Eric Ewing took awesome care of us. He guided us through the menu selections and counseled us on our selections. The manager Adam Von Spreecken checked on us often to make sure our dinning experience was spectacular. My wife and I can’t wait to return for another fabulous dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

“My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“Service was good, but what I wanted they had ran out. I ordered prime rib and complementary bread I was told they ran out of prime rib and complementary bread. Therefore I ordered KC Steak Bone in, it was a little too salty. The steak was redone but I had to wait another 20 to 25 minutes. I'm not upset the steak was salty, because things happens. I will be dinning again because I loved the atmosphere, good customer service and the friendliness.“

“I was in Kansas City for a brief visit and decided to have dinner one evening at this location. I had the filet mignon and it was excellent. Cocktail service was also very good, which isn't always the case at chain restaurants. It was a busy night but the staff were attentive and friendly. I'd eat here again without hesitation.“

“Food was great. I had the ribeye. I have had better but not by much. The meat was cooked perfect, very little seasoning if any, and very juicy. Stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. I also will say if you like coffee grab a cup because it was coffee shop quality and a pleasant surprise! I would easily come back to the golden ox.“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Not one glass ran empty and was on top of the refills. All our food was delicious. With our large group on an Easter Sunday we could not ask for someone as professional as Lane. Great job Lane!!!!“

“My husband and I visited Saltgrass tonight, anticipating the normal fantastic food and service. As always, our food was excellent, and our server was phenomenal, however an unpleasant scene we witnessed really left a sour taste in our mouth for the evening. As we were dining we witnessed the General Manager, Vernon Blazek begin yelling at a young lady right in the main dining area. He concluded the scene when he yelled “Go home. Bye!” As a Human Resources professional, I can say that had one of my managers treated a subordinate in that manner, especially in front of our customers, that would have been the first and last time that occurred. When my husband addressed the issue with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, ending our conversation by rolling his eyes, stating “Sorry I ruined your dining experience” and walking off. To say we are incredibly disappointed in tonight’s experience would be an understatement.“

Came today about 3:30pm party of 4. 3 adults plus a baby. Greeted and sat quickly. Our server was Katie. Great customer service, did well checking on all her tables, patient and very friendly. The food took no time to arrive. I had the delicious 3 course meal. House salad, fries with a cooked medium well blooming burger with no special sauce (by choice) and a cheesecake with chocolate syrup. My mother and brother informed their steaks were a little over salted. But, overall food was delicious. Menu is affordable with filling portions.“

“This was a cool little place! It had 3 dining options. The butcher shop, casual and fine dining. The fine dining was upstairs and just a little fancier. The casual was downstairs and was smaller. You could actually sit in the butcher shop and eat! They had meat for sale and the kitchen was in there too. Cool place. My husband got the meatloaf and I got the ribeye. Both were delicious!“
