“I cannot say enough positive things about Parkville Wine House!!! I met my friend there yesterday for the 1st time and was SO impressed. I was immediately greeted by the owner (I didn't get his name) and sat outside in the back terrace. I met some ladies who were having the best time and getting ready for their visit for Mom's weekend at University of AR...so fun (fun place = fun visitors). Jackie the other owner, waited on us and I started out with a yummy Prosecco from France and then my friend and I split a bottle of Sauvingnon Blanc and shared the best appetizers with Gouda cheese, spicy pretzels, tuscan flatbread, hummus with basil and pesto...it was the perfect evening to be out and the ambiance, service and treats are second to NONE-I cannot wait to go back and am thinking about a client appreciation event there SOON!!! “What a unique and delightful experience! Love the first floor cheese shop and cafe, and had been once for rooftop cocktails, but dinner was so lovely. We had maybe the best tour of a menu by a server that I've ever had - and loved hearing a blend of foodie fun, history, and community impact/why the choices were made. “Went to Barbacoa, 5500 Troost, for brunch Sunday morning, what a delightful experience. I ordered Monie’s plate. It was mouthwatering. The serving was so generous, that I took half of it home. The corn tortillas were soft and warm enough to make a taco, the beans were flavorful and not spicy, the carnitas were fall apart tender and very tasty, perfectly fried potatoes, and fluffy scrambled eggs. The salsa was very tasty and not overly spicy. The coffee was even tasty (Costco Kirkland medium roast). Unlike some breakfast restaurants, the background music was so low and mellow (helps with digestion), I could hear my friends talk. We have to go back during the week for dinner. UPDATE - I forgot one very important thing, the service was excellent. Our group was one of two in the restaurant, but shortly afterwards other start to arrive. There was only one friendly waitress, who, despite the growing crowd, was able to get back to us about more coffee and to check on us“

“I visited for the first time this past Saturday for an author event. I accidentally showed up early and was super embarrassed, but the staff was super friendly! They encouraged me to stay and hang out until event time and offered to get me a drink despite not technically being open. The latte was amazingly delicious, so I decided to take a lunch to go after the event. I'm a sucker for a good grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese was made with 2 different kinds of cheese on a panini press! It was delicious! I'm giving this place 5 stars across the board. I will definitely be back and will be bringing friends! <3“

“We have had an incredibly busy and full couple of weeks, and came to Cooper’s Hawk for a wine tasting and a meal. The wine tasting hostess was wonderful, the food was good,, but the best part was our server, Valencia. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and on the mark every single time.“

“The food was incredible but that’s not the reason I’m taking time to leave a review. Our server Janzen ( hope I’m spelling that right) was simply the best server I’ve ever had. He made a point to get to know us on a more personal level and made recommendations for my celiacs disease. He gave us fantastic mocktails based off of our favorite fruits and even made sure we got to try the phenomenal espresso cake that was gluten free before we left. “I ordered the Chuletta Plattter with thick cut pork chops it was so tender and juicy I ordered it the 2nd visit there! Only thing with this place is parking. There's not a lot of it, though you can park on all 4 sides of it if I recall correctly. There is space in a lot next door that offers many spots and has been closed when we have been there for dinner. So, don't let the parking availability stop you. They offer booth and tables for seating. Their wait staff are attentive & the food arrives really fast, which is impressive. Try it out, I am sure you'll be a repeat customer!“

“Great Happy Hour. Food was amazing. The meatballs were some of the best. Can't go wrong with truffle fries. We also had the sausage pizza and the pear bruschetta. Both very good as well. The manager was very welcoming and Dominic at the bar did a great job. It was our first visit, and will not be our last. Great Job everyone!“
