“One of the few coffee shops nearby that's open past 4pm!

Went to this coffee shop while we were in town running some errands, and I'm glad we did! Hubby and I each got a Milkyway specialty drink and they were delicious. You rarely see coffee shops doing smoothies, so I went ahead and got myself a Strawberry-Mango-Banana and it was SO good. The fruit is clearly super fresh and the sweetness level was perfect. Service was also quick, the barista brought the drinks right to us at our seats.

Atmosphere is very quiet, but not in an empty way. There's chill music playing over the speakers, and it's at a good enough volume to hear but not so loud it distracts from conversation or work. Place felt super cozy and we'll definitely be coming back here next time we're in town.”

“We had the best experience at Great Heart! Definitely recommend a reservation but if you’re flexible you may be accommodated at the bar. The staff were all amazing, we tried several beers and all were delicious, and I just can’t say enough about the food. It tasted like great-grandma’s kitchen. Nice ambiance and music too. 10/10”

“I grab food here regularly on my way to work. This is one of the best restaurants in the area! The food is incredible. The samosas are a favorite, always perfectly golden-brown crisp, while the potatoes, peas, and spices inside are perfectly balanced, and the chutney is super. I always make sure to get the tikka masala with naan; the masala is a home cooked masterpiece, and the naan is always soft and warm. 11/10!”

My son worked at the Sonic in Hannibal MO when we lived there and it is an excellent restaurant, the one on Page in Olivette in my opinion is even better. “Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.”

“Haven't been back to St. Louis for awhile and knew we needed to go to The Crossing for dinner. Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.”
