I was working a private event with Blues Fired Pizza on Saturday and as I was closing the truck door to begin prepping and service, a friendly warm voice from an older gentleman said “Hello!” From the side as he was talking to the event coordinator. After shift I stuck around to wander the area and wanted to check out their truck. I met Steve (that friendly warm voice that had greeted me hours before) and he asked me how I was and how we did. Asked me if I’d like to order anything. I was shocked because I didn’t want to assume I could also order- having not been part of the event. I asked if it was okay and he said “Sure! We have to take care of our own!” With a genuine smile on his face. I heard stories of this industry being a cut-throat business. I was more than willing to pay for my pizza but Steve assured me it was okay. (I did drop a tip in their tip can) 🙂 ***** I had the 8" Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Garlic/Ranch Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Jalapeño, Cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese. (Pictured) It was AMAZING! I’m so tired of these big chain pizza places and I’m sooo happy that I went to Blues Fired Pizza’s truck! The dough was fresh, soft, and had that fire oven taste and crisp. You can tell the dough is made from scratch. I’ve driven past them numerous times in Kirkwood at their little pizza shack… but never stopped in. I’ll be glad to come by and order for sure! I know your local in Mo but please bring one to the Gulf Shores area of Alabama. I promise you would stay busy.“

“Their online ordering site says they have curbside pickup and I parked out front where several signs indicate the number to text for curbside pickup. The response received indicated their pick up staff have been cut and I should come in to get my order. I would not have ordered had I known curbside pickup was unavailable. I called and told a staff member I couldn't come in and requested a refund. She asked me what type car I had and said she would send the order out. It took more than 15 minutes and a second phone call before they brought it out. (Another car pulled up during this time and received curbside delivery while I still waited.)“

It was my first time there and I was impressed with the food and DEFINITELY THE SERVICE! She said we were the largest group she's ever had. The Smash burgers with the fried egg were really good. The owners are warm, hospitable & the food was new & delicious! Compared to anything Indian I've experienced, this Bangladeshi fare was amazing. “I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“

It was very good. My buddy ordered the Southwest Chicken and it was the better of the two. Both pizzas had a ton of toppings. The lady working the register was pleasant and professional. It was pretty slow in the bowling alley when we went, so there was no real delay in getting our food.“

“I was host to approximately 30 to 35 professional people for an evening. The food was unbelievably delicious; and Taylor attended to us flawlessly. She never missed a beat and got it all right. The atmosphere was great in spite of it being a memorial service. There was a second table almost as large as ours, and there was plenty of room to spare. I had shopped around a few places; none of them seemed compatible for my needs. Mitch was the mgr., and he was great as well. He had asked several times how everything was. “This is our first time trying EC’s Bar & Grill. We had a Large Deluxe pizza with Provel cheese, and it was wonderful! We also had a side salad, which was very fresh and good! Promptly greeted and seated upon arriving to the venue. Service and food were top tier. My Son enjoyed a personal size bacon pizza with fresh grated parmesan cheese. I myself enjoyed the salmon, linguini pasta.
