“I’ve been here twice, soon to make it a regular place for me. I went in yesterday after I heard of a passing of a fellow Veteran. I had a great night and the respect that everyone has for each other at this bar is awesome. I had too many to drive and was given a ride home by a fellow patron(they were sober). “My partner and I came last Wednesday close to closing hour. The bartender was sweet and made one of the best dirty martini with gin that we've had in a while. Well-balanced and smooth to drink. The atmosphere was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again.“

“This place is one of the few bars I've been to that feels genuinely relaxing. The atmosphere is incredible with vintage decor, there's often live music from touring and local musicians, and ample space to sit and talk. The staff is fast, friendly, and kind. “My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and loved it!!! Pretzels were really good for an appetizer and then the Chicken Pot Pie was SO FREAKING GOOD!!! “One of, if not the, best bar in KC. Spent almost an entire 8 hours with some friends out in their patio and it was a really amazing experience. I've gone many times now since I live so close, and my boyfriend swears that their burger has overtaken town topic for best burger in kc, while I think it's a close second. The service is amazing, the patio is gorgeous and so is the inside, the drinks are amazing, and so is the food. The 70s theme is perfect for me and my bf as well, since we are lovers of all things 70s. All around a truly incredible bar, I would definitely recommend!“

“Great place to go hang out with a variety of friendly people. Good drinks, good service, owners always does amazing events from bike night, food trucks, bands, parties, benefit runs, toy drives, holiday dinners, sip and paint nights, chiefs watch parties, taco Tuesdays, Karaoke nights, pool nights, thirsty Thursday, always celebrates holidays, and so so much more. These are just a few to name off. The owners goes above and beyond to keep customers entertained and welcomes everyone in to join all the fun. People are friendly and welcoming. For some this is like a second home. The owners and bartenders definitely care about their customers. Great place to check out if you have never been.“

I know that cowardly Corey Owens, whose business is PaintingSolutionsSKC, a painting company with what he and his wife think is a “clever” logo featuring two intertwined Nazi swastikas, left you a bad review for requiring vaccination for your customers during that dangerous time and I just want to commend you and thank you for doing your part to protect fellow Americans. Stubby little Nazi coward Corey can’t even spell “riffraff” but I’m glad you made sure he knew he was a piece of it. You are not alone; crappy Corey is coming after my community too, focusing weirdly and troublingly on victimizing our children. “I just want to say thank you to this staff! While playing the pop-shot game I lost my grandmothers ring. It fell off my hand while shooting. I gave my information to the staff in hopes they would find it at close. One of their staff stopped people from playing the game and got INTO THE MACHINE and opened it up to look and find my heirloomed ring in the middle of a busy Friday night. I cannot express how grateful I am for the staff for understanding the importance of that ring and for helping me find it.“

We just wandered in with No expectation as I actually fancied a Sour Beer...but It can be Always Gin o clock. Right? Little did I know was that the best places for It. Found a new gem on my KC list as well as a nice place for my Friend who lives there. Met the Owner by accident who was very approachable and Michael was delighted that I 'm from Germany and made It into his Bar. “This has to be one of the strangest bars I've ever been to, but I welcome it. A former funeral home, turned bar, it has a unique atmosphere. Yeah, it's cash only, but that's not a big deal. They have antique pinball machines and a good selection.“

Super soft bread and butter tender roast beef.we had a great bartender brandy I believe she said. This was a girls night out for a friend and I so we did the sip and paint event. We loved it. drinks were great and they have a custom shot menu with some really awesome shots. we tried the chocolate covered cherry shot. “One of my favorite Hidden bar in the West side. Check IG for when they are open. Somewhat weather dependent hours/days. Usually Thursday- Saturday.
No food unless a pop up vendor. Super unique, very plant focused, smallish service bar but all the necessities!
