“Moved to Raytown last year and we've tried the various Chinese food places at least three times each. Today, we ordered Ma Ma China carry out as they don't do dine-in or drive thru. The food was ready when they said it would be. We ordered twice cooked pork, General Tso's chicken, beef with green peppers, shrimp with broccoli, chicken with cashew nuts, spring rolls, large hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, combo fried rice, and chicken fried rice (no carrots or peas). Order was accurate, everything was fresh, very warm to hot, and delicious. The lady at point of sale was nice and polite. We'll be visiting this place again. Took pics while still in the container, nice and packed. My kids took the dumplings and chicken fried rice before I could get pics. Lots of steamed rice in separate containers! The food was hot and fresh, the restaurant was very clean (even the drink area was spotless), and the atmosphere was comfortable (unlike the Lee’s Summit location which is freezing inside and doesn’t have adequate seating for children). There’s plenty of booth seating — perfect for families with kids. The man who helped us even gave my kids free stickers! Overall a 10/10 experience.“

“From the moment I stepped through the door until the moment I left, the entire dining experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the host, who promptly seated me without delay, setting the tone for the attentive and friendly service I would receive throughout the evening.

My server, Cliff, went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. He was not only attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. When it came to choosing wine, he listened carefully to my preferences and offered several excellent options that perfectly suited my taste, demonstrating his expertise and genuine care for the dining experience.

When the food arrived, it was clear that great attention had been paid to the quality and presentation. Every dish was served fresh, steaming hot, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was delicious, exceeding my expectations. Additionally, the menu itself was thoughtfully designed—it was concise and easy to read, which I appreciated because it made choosing my meal straightforward and enjoyable. Each menu item clearly outlined its ingredients and accompaniments, eliminating any guesswork.

Although my overall experience was fantastic, I do wish the restaurant offered a broader selection of sushi dishes, as their limited sushi options left me wanting more. Drive through only. I appreciate that. This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken is top notch. The chicken is good quality, no gristle pieces that usually come in Chinese food. The rice is so flavorful, it's even a yellowish color like it's cooked in something. My new favorite spot.“

“This place is no longer a sit down eat in restaurant. I don't mind since we stop on the way home from work and don't eat until later since we usually stop in between 3:30-5 and live 25 minutes south. We have quite a few chores to do before we can actually sit down to eat but when we do, our food is usually still pretty hot and is always tasty.
My husband gets the General Tso All Day Combo and I usually get the Sweet and Sour Chicken. He likes it Hot so we request more spice on his already spicy General Tso dish and he's always happy with what he gets.“

“So good!!! Your order is cooked freshly, right in front of you! Always consistently super hot and crisp, not soaking in too much sauce, either. They use fresh poultry for their Kung Pao Chicken, not breaded chunks of processed meat. And at around $12 for a laaarge meal (sometimes enough for lunch and dinner), I always feel great about eating here. I confess I've tried other places and they're ok, but Aiku is so good!!!?

“This place is great! It just opened back up. The woman who helped us Alice, was a sweetheart. She was very attentive and was nice to talk too. My husband and I wanted to give this place a try after we heard good things about this place and they didn't disappoint. We got crab rangoons and steamed dumplings, both were hot and delicious.We both got the lunch specials, he got garlic chicken and vegetables with egg drop soup and I got the triple delight, it had chicken, beef and shrimp with plenty of vegetables and I got hot and sour soup. Everything was hot and delicious and the portions were huge, even for it being a lunch special. The yum yum sauce was delicious too and she even brought us a couple fried donuts to try. We don't live in the area but I'll definitely make the trip for this food. It was worth it. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Alice for the wonderful service. 🙂“

The rangoons are generously filled and delicious. Nothing here is skimped. Prices are excellent. From a food quality to taste ratio I have not found a better Chinese restaurant in Kansas City. Still hands down the best seasoned rice that I have had in KC. Workers are eager to please. Seating and lighting offered no ambiance at all. Having said that, the food was really enjoyable. It felt and tasted very clean. It was not over salted or greasy. I will definitely go back.“
