“Took my mom for a little snack. She had the CosNO which she loved. We shared the lamb meatballs, Burrata and the Greek salad. A REAL Greek salad. The chefs at Enzo know what they are doing. 10/10 for us!“

“What a wonderful experience!
The food was great, and the service was delightful and very patient with our questions.
The dining area is beautiful. Although we didn't find on the roof, we took a peek and that might need to be for the next visit.“

“Went to Barbacoa, 5500 Troost, for brunch Sunday morning, what a delightful experience. I ordered Monie’s plate. It was mouthwatering. The serving was so generous, that I took half of it home. The corn tortillas were soft and warm enough to make a taco, the beans were flavorful and not spicy, the carnitas were fall apart tender and very tasty, perfectly fried potatoes, and fluffy scrambled eggs. The salsa was very tasty and not overly spicy. The coffee was even tasty (Costco Kirkland medium roast). Unlike some breakfast restaurants, the background music was so low and mellow (helps with digestion), I could hear my friends talk. We have to go back during the week for dinner. UPDATE - I forgot one very important thing, the service was excellent. Our group was one of two in the restaurant, but shortly afterwards other start to arrive. There was only one friendly waitress, who, despite the growing crowd, was able to get back to us about more coffee and to check on us“

“Really enjoyed my visit here. Been meaning to make it out here for a while. Cocktail bar with books for reading and sale, lots of board games, some comfy couches. Solid mocktail list. Cocktails are in the $13-15 range, mocktails are $10-12. Wines by the glass or bottle also available, as well as weekly specials, happy hour (including 10% off a book purchase during HH!), coffees, and teas. Great place to hang out in the crossroads. No food available.“

“Was really good! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Came in during Sunday happy hour after 4 and was told all cocktails are $2 off, however got charged full price for one of hours. Bartender was too busy to ask about it after we got the itemized receipt. Overall, delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the full special.“

“I worked here. The owner moved me to a new apartment and gave me 100 dollars just because. I still wear my PPT shirt around town and have some pressed pennies. Great food. Great family owners. The most cozy hidden gem in Kansas City!“

“Great dinner celebration for my wife's birthday! Started with the heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad which was fantastic! My wife had Sea Bass and I had the Kona crusted bone in strip, both entrees were perfect. Excellent bottle of wine and very nice dessert sampler to top it off. Thanks.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and despite an unexpected hiccup, I can’t recommend it enough! I arrived near the end of the day, straight from the airport after a trip from California, to meet my family. Unfortunately, the chef had decided to close the kitchen early, which meant nearly half the menu wasn’t available. While that could’ve soured the experience, the staff turned it into something truly memorable. Our server, Jennifer, was an absolute gem. She was kind, apologetic, and went above and beyond to ensure we still felt taken care of despite the limited options. Her warmth and effort made all the difference. Then, the manager on duty, Matt, stopped by to personally apologize as well. His professionalism and genuine kindness shone through—he was more concerned about us not having the perfect experience than anything else. Both Jennifer and Matt are invaluable assets to this place; they’re the kind of people who make you feel like you matter. The food we did get was delicious, but honestly, the service was the star of the show. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to making things right. I’ll absolutely be returning to this establishment next time I’m in town. Kudos to them for finding the best people to represent their business—Jennifer and Matt deserve all the praise!“

“Great Happy Hour. Food was amazing. The meatballs were some of the best. Can't go wrong with truffle fries. We also had the sausage pizza and the pear bruschetta. Both very good as well. The manager was very welcoming and Dominic at the bar did a great job. It was our first visit, and will not be our last. Great Job everyone!“

“Lovely meal. Salmon salad was excellent, maybe a little too much dressing. Parmesan crusted chicken was delicious and beautifully plated. The onky issue is, its too cold. I'm always cold so I take a coat and put it on inside. My husband is never cold and was wishing he had brought a jkt.“

“LOVE El Maguey (formerly Mexico Lindo) as our #1 go-to restaurant for 25+ years. Flavors are YUMMY across any of the many menu items. Favorite? Burrito Banderas: Super delicious with beef tips, chicken, and pork topped with cheese dip, red and green sauce. It's so huge, it can be shared! Service is consistently exceptional with friendly and attentive staff. It's a casual place to hang out and enjoy a relaxing meal. (P.S. Review applicable to ALL locations.)
Vegetarian options: Multiple veggie options.“
