“Loved my first trip to Dou Dou Cafe! I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and the Thit Kho, which had a creative and surprisingly spicy kick. The Viet Coffee and Hong Kong Milk Tea were both perfect. Excellent food and friendly family-owned staff!“

“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say that The Energy Hub is an great juice bar with phenomenal energy. The service is their greatest aspect; the guy behind the counter was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming.

The smoothie was really good and felt like I was doing something good for my body. You can customize the smoothie however you want with no up charge for however many different fruits you want in it.

Highly recommend stopping by at least once. You’ll be surprised how The Energy Hub lives up to its name by recharging you and leaving you feeling just a little bit lighter and brighter.“

“went there Saturday and was upstairs at the bar i think it was close to 6. well anyhow the bartender was awesome! food was really awesome. I think i had the st louis burger. I was telling people that was a 2 hand burger! was really full after eating that. even though u were real busy food was great and people were friendly!“

“Got the brisket with sweet potato fries and pickles. My friend got the ribs and corn. Both were good, very tender. The sauce was also really nice (I tried all four and we really liked the spicy one the most).

The lineup was long when we got there but it was pretty quick, I think we had a 20-30 minute wait so not too bad (I once waited for an hour at a different BBQ place).

Placed our orders and food came out pretty quickly. The staff was really nice and recommended the sides (was not disappointed).

The inside had plenty of seating and had cool decorations, I think newspaper clippings or some articles lined the walls.

Overall, had a good experience and would definitely come back.“

Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

“It took us a while to be able to snipe a reservation and I can certainly see why they need them for dine in. They do not have a lot of tables at all. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and prompt. Be careful though since they don't have a lot of tables they do rely on people respecting the allotted time for their reservations. I'd probably do to go more just because the food is so very good and I don't necessarily need a sit down experience. I can't wait for them to move to tower grove east because then they'll have more tables.“

“This place is an absolute must. I had a deconstructed sushi roll in Atlanta in 2021 and have been searching for anything on par with it, and this place smashes that memory to pieces. I get the wonton nachos every time, and anytime someone comes to visit, I’m going to be taking them here to try it.“

This delightful, friendly to all, little restaurant boasts a James Beard nominated Chef, many times over. One taste of the Browned butter hummus, and grilled bread, and you won't wonder why she ROCKS those nominations. Layers of flavor explode in your mouth. Sweet, salty, citrusy, and smooth as silk tastes. Developed flavors that keep revealing themselves with each savored bite. We loved it so much, that I ordered more to bring home. We split that "baby beer"a "Pocket Pivo". Crisp, clean brew made locally, and highly recommended by the order taker, and cashier, Dylan. He and I played off each other very well, and he loved that I said, "YAY" to everything I loved. 🤣🤣🥰 Our server, Hope, suggested as first timers that we try the hummus. She couldn't have been more right about it. Hope also suggested that we pick something from the left column on the first page of the menu. We selected the Lahmachun with spicy beef. There was plenty to split between us. Again, another explosion in my mouth of earthy spicy, sweet, herby, coupled with that fabulous woodfired bread. Hope suggested that we splash the juice from the accompanying lemon wedge on the Lahmacun. It gives balance, and a slight acidity to the meat. Perfectly balanced. This food represents the best of Boznia, Turkey, Croatian, so many more cultures full developed by the Chef's traveling far, and wide to understand the cultures behind the foods. The restaurant offers meatless, and meat full choices to please all desires, and needs. Adding to the experience is the wonderful music, a combination of those cultures, that is piped through the restaurant. I cannot wait to come back here. ( The Balkan Treat Box started as a food truck, which is still in operation, and now boasts two brick and mortar locations, too.) It's the stuff dreams are made of to me. “I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. “I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “Our wedding in February 2024 was a dream come true! Grbic helped make our day absolutely perfect. Leija was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!“

They had a large outside seating section however because of the weather it was closed.“
