I routinely stop in at the downtown JPCo. I am greeted with a smile and friendly small talk, everytime. Anytime I can feast on spinach and cheese handpies, I'm a happy camper!
Just tried it for the first time - so so good. We'll be back, ant wait to try the oxtail!
Lovely owners and the best yummy food. Wonderful addition to the Springfield Mo food scene. Try it. I guarantee you'll love it!

Jamaican Patty Co. (Downtown) is a wonderful, authentic Jamaican eatery. The food is always incredible, with options like jerk chicken, beans, slaw, and plantain tart. The prices on the patties are ridiculously low. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the diner is always squeaky clean. The atmosphere is great, making it an awesome place to dine. The Jamaican patties are a favorite, and the combo with a drink is a great deal. The chicken, including curry chicken and barbecue chicken, is tender and delicious. Overall, Jamaican Patty Co. (Downtown) is an absolute delight and a great local business to support.
