“Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

“This restaurant normally delivers but we decided to eat in The place is very bare and not very clean We ordered the veg Mei Foon and the mixed vegetables On taking the order we requested them to make it a little spicy and the food turned out exactly as we had wanted it. The Chinese ladies at the counter seem to be first gen Chinese and had a hard time communicating in English The food was fresh and very tasty and very reasonably priced“

I didn’t get a chance to try the shake today because they ran out of Oreos but it’s definitely on my list of things to try next. I say give this place a go! I met one or the owners Suzette the week before last and she was so sweet that I had to keep my promise to come visit one day.“

“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“You have to get in sooooo fast to get any bread, and as a non morning person, this rarely happens for me, but their bread is so delicious if you can score a loaf! I also love their salad. I've tried to get their sandwiches but they're always out of everything I want to order so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. It is very very loud and busy in there, so I usually do takeout if I order anything.“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say that The Energy Hub is an great juice bar with phenomenal energy. The service is their greatest aspect; the guy behind the counter was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming.

The smoothie was really good and felt like I was doing something good for my body. You can customize the smoothie however you want with no up charge for however many different fruits you want in it.

Highly recommend stopping by at least once. You’ll be surprised how The Energy Hub lives up to its name by recharging you and leaving you feeling just a little bit lighter and brighter.“

“Our first trip ever to the Balkan Treat Box started with a very helpful server coming up to us at where you order and handing us the menus and helping us decide what to get. It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors! We were checked on by the staff several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everyone was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend. “none of yhe tables were cleaned off, we had to do it ourselves. Thats unusual for this place. Our tofu nug order had weird grey grease on several pieces, bitter and inedible. Weird! Sushi burrito was delicious, but wrapped weird, food kept falling out of it.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

“It was a rare out of town date night for us and we chose Olive and Oak for a couple reasons. They were open late on Sunday and the menu looked amazing. From start to finish, this was a wonderful dining experience. The NA mocktails were amazing. The atmosphere is stunning. We tried several different things on the menu and were not disappointed by any of them. Our server, Jordan, was fantastic. My boyfriend is a restaurant owner/chef in Columbia and to watch him truly enjoy every bit of that meal made my heart happy as well. We will absolutely be back. Many times:)“

A staple in Maplewood: the staff is friendly, the bar has some great offerings, and the food is delicious. I have been going to the same Thai restaurant that is 15-20mins away for years because I love it, but MeYou will likely replace that for me now. The drunken noodle was BETTER than my go-to place… I’ve never had this dish in a more balanced way with snappy vegetables that weren’t at all overcooked and the way they cooked the tofu was incredible, the crab rangoon are EXCELLENT— perfectly fried, filling is smooth and truly flavorful. Not just cream cheese with crab, you can tell they season it and take care to make a great filling. I also got the butterfly lemonade which was great. Will be ordering again and again and again!“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“
